I was also a paying customer on this weekend and obviously experienced the same thing you and everyone else did. In my profession I work directly with fire suppression systems like this and much more. I hope you can understand that this building is not brand new and is under maintenance and updates. With that, the fire alarm control system... More

We stayed a Friday and Saturday night. Friday night was good except the alarm clock kept going off in the room and we had to unplug it. But Saturday night/Sunday morning was when the real excitement was had! Woke up at 2 am to the fire alarm going off. After MANY calls to the front desk and them saying they... More

I should have known better before booking with them. I got quoted one price when I called earlier and then quoted another price when booking. I wanted to queens and got quoted 71.00. When booking the room, I was quoted 79.99 for a king and pulled out couch. It would be extra for 2 queens according to the lady(with an... More

Not was we thought, no game room, pool was broke, the workout room was dirty and if you wanted to lift weights u had to pay to use gym connected to pool area. bowling alley and game room was a complete different building. the movie theater was always closed. we were told the pool just broke before hunting season and... Thank you for your recent stay, and I can only apologize for the problems that you encountered, while also clearing up a few misconceptions. Unfortunately, I only knew of the issue with the prescription found in the fridge. As for the pool, I think both accounts are correct, it did "just" break right as hunting season open, while for anyone... More

We stayed here while passing through Midland; found it on booking.com for $60+ tax for the night. Was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews. Yes, you have to check in at the Best Western, but it's not THAT far from the building. When I first arrived, the attendant couldn't find my reservation for some reason, but he was accomodating... Thank you for your recent stay and review, we appreciate the kind comments. We are in the process of becoming a stand-alone hotel, which means no longer will you need to check in elsewhere, or leave the building for breakfast. We are also working on other improvements to the building and the rooms, and we hope you will again choose... More

Searched using Travelocity. Found a room at this Hotel Plaza Suites. Overall, a good value despite its age. $70 + taxes of about $7.00 for one Friday night. Like other reviewers, we were surprised to find there was no check-in desk at this building, had to go to front building to register. Room 330 was actually very nice and clean,... More

Thank you for your recent stay at the Plaza Suites Hotel, and we appreciate the kind comments. We are currently in the process of becoming a stand-alone hotel, and we do have a check-in desk in the building now, which will make it easier for our guests. We are also serving a Continental breakfast on site, so walking across the... More

No attendant was on duty, (you had to go to the lobby of the Best Western in front), was afraid to walk on carpet barefoot, tub was dirty, missing soaps, hairdryer broken....need I say more? Didn't even try the breakfast after experiencing the room.

The hotel is next to a campground. We stayed at the hotel for two nights. We walked to the campground daily to visit friends. Upon entering the hotel, the first thing I noticed was the smell. The hotel smelled like old carpet. The mold smell was overwhelming. We entered our room and it smelled also. The bathtub tile was full... More

Our room was in the Plaza Suites. Front staff was rude, asked for additional pillows, they didn't have any and the ones on the bed were as flat as pancakes. All the towels were yellowed from rusty water, water pressure was horrible and took a LONG time to get hot water. No attendant at this hotel, you have to walk... More

ONline, the lobby pictured is ACTUALLY the Best Western where we had to check in. We also had to traverse 200 feet in windy cold rainy conditions to get to Best Western where we had a miserly, starch filled breakfast. This is truly troublesome because my sister is handicapped. Our first night we had to use the pool and jacuzzi... More
