This place is truly a gem! We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our two boys here and was a great experience. Nice and big enough to wander around with cute things to look at.

It's pretty incredible that much of my life was spent within about an hour of this inn and I'd never set foot in it. Now that I live 2,000 miles away, I finally spent the night here! This place is just incredible with its large display of antiques! I felt like we were staying in our own private museum! We...

This historic inn was very comfortable, pleasant and clean. We arrived on Monday evening when the inn was quiet. We enjoyed looking at each available room and the innkeepers missed no details. The rooms were amazingly beautiful all in their own way. Breakfast was very generous in a self serve display. We were sorry to have to leave the next...

We really enjoyed our stay at National House Inn. We gave my parents a gift certificate here as a Christmas gift since it's situated halfway between where we and they live, and we finally made use of it in October.
The inn is a beautiful old building with a lot of history behind it. The lobby is very rustic and...

I made a reservation over the phone the day before my arrival and the owner said I could check-in around 2:00 pm. When I arrived she said the room wasn't ready and I needed to come back in an hour. I then came back and she told me that I was one of 5 people in a 20 something room...

I truly enjoyed my stay here. My room (George S. Wright) was bright and clean, and the staff's hospitality every morning was excellent. Coffee, tea and snacks were ever-present, privacy was respected, and the historic setting was a treat. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

32 of our closest fiber friends, ate, talked, giggled, knit, crocheted, and drank in this beautiful old inn. There was very little sleeping, but that was our choice. When we did sleep, the beds were wonderful and the rooms cozy and quiet.
The staff was friendly, helpful and very tolerate of our antics.

My husband and I stayed for one summer weekend night and loved the Inn and the town of Marshall. The Inn was quaint and full of character. The rooms were very nice. There were several public areas inside and out. The afternoon snack, the popcorn in the evening and the breakfast were all nice. We walked downtown to shop, go...

This is an interesting historic inn in a beautiful little town. The rooms were elegant, interesting and spacious. There were many nice little touches, like real glasses in the rooms instead of plastic, lovely bed linens and interesting furniture. Enjoyed the parlor/dining room to go and play cards or games in the evening. The $85 a night Sunday and Monday...

First impression? When I walked in, it was like walking into tomb ... dark, dingy, musty and depressing. I kept thinking Edgar Allen Poe or Vincent Price were going to jump out and surprise us. The owners don't live there and it shows. No warmth, personal touches or attention to detail. Just people working for a paycheck. We stopped there...
