Terrible customer service. I goofed with my online reservation putting in wrong month but they refused to refund my $120+ even though I made new reservation for correct month at over $280. They said it was there policy although Choice Hotels Guest Relations staff said they could see it was an honest mistake but it was the property managers decision.... More

This hotel is older and could use some updating, but our room was clean and efficient. We stayed in the back building which had less highway noise. It was clean and comfortable which was all we needed for this stay. We had a refrigerator and a microwave. The only drawback was that the ice machine was in the front building... More

Was up in Marquette at Northern Michigan for parent weekend. With most hotels already booked, we stay here . The room looks like it had not been updated in years , lampshade broken , lamp over the sink burned out , torn blanket on bed. It's not what I was hoping for $120.00 a night. The next morning my wife... More

We spent one night passing through Marquette. The clerk, Christie, was very accommodating in switching our rooms away from the highway and traffic noise to an inside room that was much quieter. The next morning after we had checked out, Christie called us to inform us that Elizabeth, the housekeeper, had found my husband's cell phone in the room. They... More

The room had space to move around in and it had a great view of the lake across the street. Breakfast was definitely nothing spectacular. Eggs and sausage weren't very good at all. Coffee was o.k. The room was clean and in working order. Need better pillows and one or two more for a queen room would be nice. The... More

Hotel is located next to major highway so convenient on and off for travels and easy access to main street into downtown Marquette. Room was pleasant, beds were comfortable and even though fully booked the motel was quiet. Breakfast area is quite small, but good selection of breakfast items including fresh fruit which is really appreciated. Was a little surprised... More

Stayed one night travelling through the UP. Hotel was adequate but kind of old. Obviously management does what they can to keep standards up but time does catch up. Squeaky floors, old carpet, that kind of thing. Highway was kind of noisy. Overall it was OK though and when you travel with a dog there aren't many choices. I would... More

Stopped late at night after a long drive at the first hotel coming into Marquette from the east. This wouldn't be my first choice, as there were better looking spots in Marquette as we drove thru the next morning. This economy choice was dated and a bit shabby, but they found us a cot and we got to sleep for... More

At the price point of this motel we thought it was fine, the room was clean and everything worked. Even had a rudimentary breakfast buffet thrown in,something we have not seen elswhere at this price. The real good point was the manager who was the most helpful person you could wish to meet and went well out of her way... More

We were in Marquette to move our daughter into a house, but unfortunately it was graduation weekend for NMU so this was the only hotel that had rooms available....and now we know why! The price was jacked up the first night because of the weekend, but even the second night (Sunday) when it dropped back down was way overpriced. The... More
