reasonable rates and nice clean rooms. Lobby/ Front desk area could use a good cleaning and organization to make a better first impresson.
Like the other reviewer, I was in town to visit a seriously ill relative. Needed a cheap, clean room near the hospital. Bingo! A few words of wisdom...because this is a "mom & pop" motel, sometimes the phone goes unanswered or the office is untended. Bring your own hair dryer, there aren't any. I stayed here during my wife's surgery in Marquette. She had checked most of the hotels who offered hospital rates of $55 a night. The Venture was substantially less for one person on the hospital rate. The room was large and clean and conveniently located to the hospital and a variety of restaurants.
