Hotel goes back to the 1930s and has a bit of a history with ghosts. The front desk was a plus, nice and efficient. Beautiful public areas. The two of us stayed in a suite with one bedroom and a living room with daybed. Great feel to the big room, old fashioned but not fussy or feminine. Original artwork with... More

Neat history of the building. They've done extensive remodeling and it was a comfortable two night stay. The facility is used extensively by the local community. As far as being outstanding for a traveler - not so much, but certainly not unpleasant. The restaurant was okay, but not everything the reviews built it up to be.

...this is an old- school hotel in downtown Marquette, Mi. We stopped here on a long drive east from Victoria, BC, and we were very road weary. We were given a primo room with windows on two sides and a harbor view. The room, themed after Amelia Erhart, who had stated at the hotel, featured a spotless well equipped bathroom,... More

We were on a weekend bike trip with no reservations booked. We were delighted and charmed to find this great hotel in Northern Michigan - such a wonderful surprise. Conveniently located in downtown, blocks from a great bike trail, views of Lake Superior. Beautiful bar/restaurant on top floor, great breakfast place on ground floor. Lovely rooms, friendly great service.

What a nice find. We really enjoyed our stay. We didn't know what to expect. The hotel is near Lake Superior so we had a nice walk around the lake area. Had dinner at a nearby brewery which we found on "Yelp". Nice cozy room. Easy highway access. Cozy rooms, not like chain hotel rooms.

The Landmark Inn is still going strong. Even with the consistently poor customer service, I am attracted to this hotel when staying in Marquette. Whether you have a city view or lake view room you can't go wrong. The hotel has not been remodeled since reopening, and it is starting to show a little, but in general it is still... More

We have completely enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Landmark Inn. We were in town for a wedding (reception at the Landmark Inn). We walked to many of the places we wanted to visit, including Lake Superior. Marquette's downtown area is fantastic, the people are friendly and everything you could want is at your fingertips. The Landmark's Northland Pub... More

very nice if you like the old atomosphere . I would say probably the best choice in Marquette as they do not have such as Hilton, Sheraton etc... The bathroom was very clean even the building is old. Its wall and ceilings are relatively thin.

i will just get rid of the one negative first; and that's they wanted to charge $15 for a rollout bed for a child, bogus otherwise this was a great old school hotel with lots of character, and our rooms were clean and colorful. also they say the rest. is really good but we didn't eat here. they location is... We stayed at the Landmark the night before our wedding. We had our reception in their Harbor Ballroom. We, along with some family members stayed there and everyone's room had varying decor and all were clean and comfortable. I thought that the room rate's were a little high, but the service from the front desk, the wait staff and the... More
