My husband and I stayed at Landmark Inn for 3 nights at the end of May. Ashley in reservations assisted in choosing a room - a room which made us very happy! It was bright and cheerful with lots of light. This is an older hotel with lots of charm and character - we loved it! While staying at Landmark... More

I like staying at older non-chain hotels when possible. This place fit the bill nicely. The room was sizable and bright. No issue with cleanliness. No issue with service. I'd stay here again for sure. Parking can be a challenge depending upon what is going on at the hotel. During our stay there was a wedding and it really took... More

Very well maintained old hotel in downtown Marquette on the shores of Lake Superior. Great place close to everything. Parking is handy and free. There is a bar in the lobby and at the top of the hotel. Both have food. There is a nice restaurant in the lobby, Capers. Lobby is beautiful.

This is a grand old hotel. Each room is different from the others. But something is lacking. The furniture is old and needs updating. Our room had lots of closet space but NO drawer space. Food at the restaurant and pub is excellent, for Marquette. Staff is very nice and helpful.

There's no other hotel in the UP quite like the Landmark. It's a beautifully restored property with a great location in Marquette. All the shops and restaurants of Washington and Front Streets are within easy walking distance, NMU is a short (3 minutes) car ride, and the lower harbor is a few minutes walk. Rooms aren't massive, but they have... More

We've stayed more than a few times at the Landmark and despite the very high room prices and "ritzy atmosphere" of the place, we've never been wholly satisfied and have always left feeling that we had not gotten our money's worth. The staff can be Extremely rude and insulting on occasion and the rooms are nothing to rave about for... More

We spent our 18th anniversary, which fell on the same day as the Super Bowl, at the Landmark Inn. Treated like their favorite clients upon check-in. The room was beautiful and cozy with a great view of Lake Superior. And Rachel, the bartender at the sixth floor NorthStar Lounge, took excellent care of us as we enjoyed the football game... More

We stayed over night to watch the ball drop two blocks away! We returned to a lobby full of party goers! They had music, small side bar and dancing! Fun time! Beautiful decor, very friendly staff and great food! We sat at the bar upstairs and watched someone fireworks! We'd stay there again! They even park your car like the... More

I agree wholeheartedly with the earlier post that suggested to he staff needs customer service training. Wow, do they ever. When we arrived, we too were given no information about the restaurants on-site, or any other hotel amenities for that matter. The staff member wasn't very friendly at all actually. We were put in a corner room on the 2nd... More

We called hotel around 6pm on our way from Sault. The staff provided us an immediate option and suggested some nearby pubs and restaurants that would still be thriving at our arrival time. The Landmark is a landmark and perfectly situated near restaurants, NMU, lake paths and neighborhoods. The rooms were our desired combination of modern amenities yet still embracing... More
