Stayed there September 19 for our son's wedding. What a lovely establishment. Easy to find as it's on top of one of the high spots in Maquette with a large sign. It is an old establishment but it has kept itself appropriately modern without losing the charm of the history of the hotel. Our hotel room was HUGE as were... More

This historical hotel downtown Marquette is fine for couples looking for a romantic weekend. Not recommended for business travellers looking for basic conveniences like a good working table, a fridge or a microwave. Rooms are European-sized and decorated with lots of frills. Hotel has well appointed restaurant on the main floor. There are no in-house swimming pool nor exercise equipment.... More

If you enjoy the best of a historic hotel with modern conveniences, the Landmark Inn is unusually accessible and affordable for its type. It's located in downtown Marquette with plenty of free parking immediately adjacent to it. The building has been tastefully renovated to give a historic appearance, but it functions in a totally modern way. Despite using a special... More

For a historic inn this place was in good shape. Clean and well kept without losing it's character. Downstairs bar was lively and efficiently tended by a knowledgeable, professional staff member. The room had a bit too much "stuff" in it which limited the space, but the bed was comfortable. The centralized location was key. Easy to walk to the... More

Stayed at the Landmark over Labor Day weekend for the Blues Festival. We were with another couple and stayed in a suite with living room & bedroom, two bathrooms. Could not have worked out better! We hung out with friends most of the weekend but were able to park at the hotel and walk to the festival and to shopping,... More

I love this hotel and the location. I always stop by for a drink in the bar when I visit. I've stayed in the hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful. Very clean and well decorated. Certainly a top stay if you are visiting the U.P. of Michigan. It's centrally located and has a wonderful view of the lower harbor.... More

Very disappointed in that past experiences at this location have been fine. We waited 30 minutes for a table, yet when we were seated there were 3 other empty tables. Ordered our food and waited 55 minutes to be served! Food was tasty but for the size of the portions grossly overpriced. Drink prices also alittle steep- my drink cost... More

The Landmark Inn is a great place that hasn't succumbed to its own fame. The list of famous people who have stayed here is very long. The staff are genuinely friendly (not fake service-friendly like some places). The hotel is located in downtown Marquette, within easy walking distance of the university, the harbor and plenty of restaurants and shops. There... More

Quick weekend getaway---the perfect place to stay. An historically preserved, grand old hotel right in the heart of Marquette. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, a bike rental place, and to the lakeshore. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Pricing was very fair---$179/night, including all taxes/fees, during high season and over a weekend. Front desk very helpful and... More

Upon arrival we received a great welcome from the reception staff and were swiftly checked in. the hotel has an old historical charm and the two rooms we checked in to were freshly decorated with nice touches to the furnishings and spotlessly clean. We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant as the menu selection looked pretty good and reasonably... More
