I love this hotel and the location. I always stop by for a drink in the bar when I visit. I've stayed in the hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful. Very clean and well decorated. Certainly a top stay if you are visiting the U.P. of Michigan. It's centrally located and has a wonderful view of the lower harbor.... More

Very disappointed in that past experiences at this location have been fine. We waited 30 minutes for a table, yet when we were seated there were 3 other empty tables. Ordered our food and waited 55 minutes to be served! Food was tasty but for the size of the portions grossly overpriced. Drink prices also alittle steep- my drink cost... More

The Landmark Inn is a great place that hasn't succumbed to its own fame. The list of famous people who have stayed here is very long. The staff are genuinely friendly (not fake service-friendly like some places). The hotel is located in downtown Marquette, within easy walking distance of the university, the harbor and plenty of restaurants and shops. There... More

Quick weekend getaway---the perfect place to stay. An historically preserved, grand old hotel right in the heart of Marquette. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, a bike rental place, and to the lakeshore. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Pricing was very fair---$179/night, including all taxes/fees, during high season and over a weekend. Front desk very helpful and... More

Upon arrival we received a great welcome from the reception staff and were swiftly checked in. the hotel has an old historical charm and the two rooms we checked in to were freshly decorated with nice touches to the furnishings and spotlessly clean. We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant as the menu selection looked pretty good and reasonably... More

We stayed at the Landmark while in Marquette for a wedding. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Marquette. The Landmark was within walking distance of downtown and made it really convenient after the bars to walk home. The rooms were large and clean. They were not new but had a very classic feel to them. We stayed... More

This hotel has so many historical pieces of furniture and stories to accompany the great service and clean environment. There are two restaurants inside to choose from and a Sky Room lounge overlooking Lake Superior. We have only eaten at the Pub style restaurant which was not bad. The Sky room has limited seating and we happened to try it... More

Perfect Sized Inn....comfortable and impeccably clean throughout. Great on-site dining options! The elevators are quick and the hallways quiet. I can't remember the last time I traveled and felt so at home. You can walk to the lake and to shopping. The staff were friendly and helpful, honestly can't find a flaw! Modern Amenities and Old World Charm!

Greats like Amelia Earhart, Jimmy Stewart, and George C.Scott have stayed here to name a few. My wife and I stayed one night last month in a fifth floor water view room which was spacious and grand. Bathroom was also spacious and elegant. The Sky Room is a great place for drinks and the good and service at the Capers... More

This is the only hotel we stay at in Marquette, which is usually during summer and winter. Our most recent stay was over the 4th of July weekend, and we discovered a wedding party had booked Caper's and the lobby of the hotel on Saturday for a reception. Signs indicated that meals would be shifted around to different restaurants in... More
