Top notch customer service. Ray, the hotel manager is second to none. Conveniently located at 14 mile and I-75 PLUS across the parking lot to Twin Peaks. If you haven't eaten dinner there, you are missing out.(similar to a tilted kilt, but better).

This hotel looks like it was a different hotel chain originally. The ground floor rooms are entered from the outside. No apparent entry from inside the hotel. The lobby and dining are what you usually find in a Fairfield Inn. The dining area was good for us. The hostesses kept the breakfast food filled. And they were very accommodating when... More

I stayed at this Fairfield Inn while in the area for business. It is a mid-range hotel, although a little on the low end for a Fairfield Inn. The layout is like a motel, with rooms opening to the outside parking lot. My colleague complained about the noise from the parking lot and freeway. The rooms are small, dated, and... More

No frills, old hotel. Layout is odd-- elevator entrance is outside the lobby doors, lobby layout is so awkward that it makes breakfast uncomfortable. Service isn't special, but passable. That being said, this hotel is probably OK. It's reasonably priced, in a safe location if you need to be in that area, and is relatively clean. This hotel is nothing... More

The hotel room was quite small and very old looking. Really needs a face lift. Breakfast was very good and staff were nice. We have had very good experiences at Marriott hotels and this was a little disappointing.

The hotel was clean and nice. The breakfast was very nice, but get there early on Sunday because they may run out of items. Outside of some guests thinking the breakfast area was their gathering spot to sit and chat and stay long after they had eaten, it was nice. Although we prefer hotels with inside hallways, the area around... More

I have stayed at this particular Fairfield Inn in the past and reviewed it one year ago. My comments from then remain valid. It is well located, comfortable beds, good breakfast, pleasant staff. At the same time, it is an aging facility which has been reasonably maintained.

This is not the newest Fairfield Inn on the block but for my trip was ideal. If you have business in Troy or the surrounding area this might do: it had everything I needed - good breakfast, clean, nice room , friendly reception.

This was a quick two night business trip. Friendly, quick check in. I had a king room, a bit tight but had small refrigerator and microwave. Complimentary guest reception Mon-Wed, which had great salad, veggies, meatballs one night and chicken the other. I'm vegetarian and enjoyed the salad and veggies, both were fresh. There's a decent exercise room as well.... More

The Detroit Curling Club always arranges for a special rate at the Fairfield Inn for bonspiels. I've been staying here on those trips for three years. I've found the front desk staff to be courteous and great with information. The rooms needs a bit of work (wall paper in places and an occasional errant HVAC unit) but it's usually quiet.... More
