This bed & breakfast has many amenities. The location is central to sites in Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. The breakfast, afternoon cookies and late night dessert were scrumptious. The room was beautifully decorated and appointed, with a jacuzzi, cable, etc. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The entire experience was positive. more

The Brigadoon has a good location, within walking distance to Shepler's Ferry to Mackinaw Island. The staff was very helpful, assisting with carrying our luggage to our room and getting us set up with the wifi which worked fine. Also had suggestions for dinner. The Chippewa was my favorite. Breakfast was good with a hot entree and fresh fruit although... more

We stayed for 2 nights in early July. The property is lovely and clean with the pretty front yard, comfy living room lounge and a good size light-filled breakfast nook where breakfast and evening desert are served by a wait staff. It has a Southern charm decoration throughout and the service was also warm and charming with Southerner friendliness, being... more

We stayed in a large suite at the Brigadoon (302 I believe) which had a separate winding staircase leading up to it. The room was large with a view of the water and a king size bed and sitting area and whirlpool tub in the bathroom. The staff was very helpful too! Breakfast was great and accomodations were made for... more

This time, we stayed in our first Bed & Breakfast...now we're spoiled...we loved it at Brigadoon and plan to go back agin this October. Rose's peach french toast... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very disappointed. Unfortunately the B&B had changed ownership 3 week's before we arrived, and you could tell. The previous owner loved the place, but the new owners/staff were hopeless! When we checked in the reception lady had difficulty telling us where our room was (it was on the 3rd floor and there... more

My husband and I were delighted and surprised by this first class b&b in Mackinaw City. After seeing the room we reserved at a nearby hotel, we knew we didn't want to stay there. We drove around and were warmly welcomed at Brigadoon and shown to a clean, well decorated, lovely room with an excellent comfortable king bed and pull... more

As a Brit my experience of B&Bs is that they are usually cheaper than hotels, so it came as a shock when this place was at least three times more expensive than the local hotels. However the website promised that it would be worth it - sadly this wasn't the case. The room was small, there was noise from other... more

Brigadoon is a lovely Victorian B&B located in Macinaw City. My sister and I arrived @noon, and were immediately greeted by the owner and her assistant. Both of them just as bubbly and friendly as one would hope for, and we felt as tho we were right at home. We were shown around and had a choice of rooms. My... more
