Just noticed yesterday there web site is accepting reservations. This place is great for the price. Views of the bridge and Island bresth taking. Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is terrific. Grills available and bonfire pits. I'm so glad I have a room for Memorial weekend.

First... one of my biases is that I prefer smaller, "mom & pop" motels IF they are in good shape and clean. This one fits 100%. Sure, the rooms are a little small by today's standard and the bathrooms are as well and additionally suffer from a lack of shelf space to put stuff. But, the room was very clean,... More

We stayed one night and found this place to be very accommodating at the last minute. We drove up north with our family pet and decided we wanted to stay the night. The room was clean and I really was happy to find this place. My only complaint was there was a bench outside our room next to our door... More

First time here after many years staying at another hotel. We will be back. These folks are so friendly and accommodating. Room was large, clean, had great views, and very reasonable. We stayed on a Saturday and saw fireworks outside our balcony. Bonus!

We stayed five nights in the lake view Jacuzzi room. We usually stay in the chain hotels farther down the beach. The view of the island and the bridge is even better in this location. The room was clean and made up every day. The beach is sandy and not rocky like the other hotels. There are swings and stuff... More

Just stayed 4 nights at the Housekeeping cabin. It was perfect. It had such charm! It was clean and had everything we needed to make our autumn getaway perfect. Our final night we had a fire at the hotel's firepit on the beach and watched the fireworks in St Ignace and the bridge's lights and the moon rise. Perfect end... More

We hit the accommodation lottery when we found the Beachcomber Motel on the Water . Quaint, charming, clean and comfortable. From the moment you pull into their drive you will see the lake facing you and you know it’s going to be a relaxing stay. We stayed with our tiny well behaved pooch in a room that had a balcony... We stayed there with our friends and had adjoining rooms. We had a great view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Island. The room was very clean. We enjoyed that it was very peaceful no kids running in the halls no doors slamming at all hours. This is a family run motel and I would stay here again in a minute.... More

I stayed there last night and out of my entire Michigan trip, this was the best place I stayed at. It was very clean, modern, and had everything I would expect from a motel. It was half the price of the Fairmont in Fenton Michigan and has beachfront access about 50 feet from my room. You can see Mackinac Island... More
