We stayed 3 nights at the Waterfront Inn. It was a good location and was very reasonably priced, $59.00 a night, but I was disappointed when I opened the door. The front desk staff member was very friendly upon our arrival. However, we were very disappointed with the hotel. The description on the website is very deceptive. The floor in our room was wet in some spots and very damp in others. Couldn't put luggage on floor, walk in "stocking feet", or bare feet due to floor condition. Mold/water marks... more
This place advertises a 'beautiful, large beach with spectacular views of Lake MI". The beach is muddy and smells of sewage. The local gulls and other birds use it as a toilet and there is a "run-off" pipe that empties "effluent" right onto the beach and down to the water!
