We had such a wonderful stay at the Market Street Inn. The inn is as beautiful as is the island. The location of the inn was great for getting around - by the fort. We stayed in room 9 which has a king size bed and a jacuzzi tub for two. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. It... More

My family has visited Mackinac Island several times and have stayed in different inns, B&Bs and hotels. The Market Street Inn is by far our new favorite. The short: Price, quality, location and a caring and attentive staff make this inn second to none. The long: The inn is located near the fort and downtown. Market Street is central to... More

The Market Street Inn is located at the far end of the strip, just a short block off of the main street (Front Street). You're never far from a fudge shop on Mackinac, but the B&B is just within a few hundred feet of one of the few small markets. It's also located adjacent to the historic fort. Every day... More

My husband and I are generally not B&B users. We like it when we can remain a little unnoticed or anonymous, and don't enjoy being fussed over. As far as that goes - we absolutely adored Market Street Inn! When we arrived, we found the front desk empty, but a delivery of fresh fudge was occurring at the same time... More

We stayed at the Market Street Inn for three nights in August. As soon as we walked up, we were greeted by the owner Kristen, who was waiting for us on the front porch. She gave us a tour of the home and some tips on things to see on the island. She even told us about a few good... More

Although our stay was awhile ago I always tell people of our wonderful stay at Market Street Inn. We went for our anniversary and it could'nt have been more romantic. The charm and hospitality is unmatched. We are planning on returning again when our schedules permit us to. We would'nt dream of staying at any other place. I could go... More

My wife chose the Market Street Inn after doing extensive online research and we are very happy she did. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was beautiful with a nice kitchenette and separate seating area. Bed was very comfortable. Only downside of the room was the shower was a little small. Kristen the Inn keeper is the best. We... More

Such a nice place, on the Eastern side of the "downtown" it's a great place to start/stop at. We had the King + Jacuzzi room on the second floor. We were asked to only run the Jacuzzi from 8am-11pm as it's kinda loud (and it kinda was). Breakfast in bed was so good! We didn't spend much time in the... More

Look no further for a great place to stay on Mackinac Island. Kristen keeps a lovely inn that is only 1 block off Main Street. She excels at thoughtful touches that make the trip such as a card and bottle of champagne for our anniversary and passes to the Butterfly house . This location is perfect during the day when...
