Our late-October stay was our 2nd one at The Inn on Mackinac, and our experience was just as wonderful as the first one. We were happy to discover they had upgraded our room, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was just as friendly as we had experienced the previous year, several of whom were familiar faces. The... More

The hotel is lovely starting as one walks in the door. The room is well appointed and beautifully done. It is very quiet. We were in a room with a gable overlooking the street - fantastic for hearing the horses trot down the street. Breakfast is complete and tasty - even to raisins, brown sugar and nuts for the oatmeal.... More

We stayed at Pippi Longstocking's summer house for two nights and found it very colorful on the outside, as well as on the inside. The room was spacious and the beds really comfortable. The only thing we did not like was the way breakfast was served in a cantine style dining room. In spite of the kitsch design, we found... More

The Inn on Mackinac is a bed and breakfast location. It is very Victorian in appearance. Our room was quiet and the bed was the most comfortable we've slept in on a trip for a very long time. If we get a chance to go back to the island, we will definitely stay at the Inn on Mackinac. Service was... More

We stayed 3 nights while exploring the island. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the common room was roomy and bright, and the porch was lovely for enjoying the harbor view. The only complaint was the breakfast which had cold eggs or pancakes and very little fresh fruit. It was a good value by reserving online - important on the... More

We loved the Inn on Mackinac the first time we stayed, about 3 years ago. We just got back last week from Mackinac Island, and staying at the Inn was like seeing an old friend. The garden was still lovely even though it was the last days of September. Daily we watched the butterflies and bees flitting among the blooms.... More

I've stayed at a number of places on Mackinac Island--b&bs as well as hotels. I'm going back to the Inn on Mackinac in a few days. The hotel is charming, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast spread is replete with choices, the staff is very courteous.

The Inn on Mackinac is a very quaint, Victorian inn. Our room was very unique and furnished with wall-coverings, furniture, and decor from the Victorian era. The service was warm and friendly and a hot breakfast was provided daily. The only real drawbacks to this hotel would be the lack of wi-if, and the general lack of counter space and... More

The staff is always very friendly and caring. The only thing to help would be to have fresh fruit. Bananas, apples, not the can stuff for breakfast. Rooms are always clean. Hot tub is perfect after a ride around the island. We do miss the cheese they had in the afternoon (please bring it back).

We found this delightful inn while on an impromptu road trip through Michigan to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was exceptional, going out of their way to make our stay the best it could possibly be! (Special thanks to Shannon who mailed out the delayed souvenir!) Great location within an easy walk of about everything; bike rental directly across the... More
