My husband and I have stayed at a lot of different places on Mackinac Island. The Inn on Mackinac is one of our favorites because of the roomy front porch. It is a great way to relax. The Inn is in a great location and the addition of the spa pool makes it even better. The room decors are so... More

We are regular visitors to Mackinac Island and typically stay at the Inn. The distance from town is a short walk making it very convenient. They provide a decent breakfast, afternoon cheese, crackers, and lemonade, and chocolate chip cookies in your room in the evening. We also enjoy the spa pool and just sitting on the porch watching the motorless... More

Just got back yesterday from our trip to Mackinac. Stayed at our favorite Inn On Mackinac in the same room 310. It is always exciting to stay at our second home on the island, and have been staying here for the last 3 years. So enjoy the free breakfast that they serve and also the cheese and crackers and fresh... More

The room was very clean, cute and decent size. The bathroom was very tiny though. Our kids loved staying at the Inn. The location was great, very close to the shops but far enough for it to be quiet in the evening. The spa pool was very nice and the cookies were a special treat. They have wi-fi in the... More

I have been traveling to Mackinac Island for about 30 years and have stayed at many different properties. My recent stay at the Inn on Mackinac was one of my favorite! Although our room was small, for the price we paid, it served our family just fine. The location is great and the breakfast was very nice. The staff was... More

My family and I love the Inn on Mackinac. This is the 6th year of staying there and would definetly recommend this quaint Inn to stay at. Nice breakfast in the morning, cheese crackers and lemonade in the afternoon, and chocolate chip cookies delivered to room everyday. The staff is so friendly and courteous. Love the nice big hot tub,... More

I am are sitting on the big front porch of the hotel on Main Street while typing this, and enjoying the view of people on bicycles, horse and carriages, and... More

We stayed here from July 23 through July 28. The staff were always willing to help and were very friendly. A buffet breakfast is provided every day. Our room was clean and inviting. The cookies delivered to the room in the evening were a nice touch. This was my first visit to Mackinac Island and I would highly recommend the... More

Stayed at the Inn on Mackinac for an evening on a day stop on our way to AirVenture in Oshkosh. Staff was friendly and check in and out was smooth. It was quaint & relaxing and the perfect walk, away from the main drag. Rooms & bathrooms were very nice. I'd only recommend a small night table to be added.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The year was 1867, an era of horse-drawn carriages and ladies in bustles. Blacksmiths were crafting horse shoes in glowing forges. During this height of Victorian culture, the Inn on Mackinac was built. Known then as Chateau Beaumont in memory of the famous Army surgeon at Fort Mackinac, the Inn on Mackinac has retained its quaint, old fashioned charm. The Inn’s facilities have been updated to meet the needs of the modern traveler while preserving its colorful history. Today, completely remodeled and redecorated, this beautiful Victorian Inn opens its doors, where the very special charm of our family-run Inn awaits you. ... more   less
