I am usually a pretty tough reviewer, and I struggled with 4 or 5 circles (I am tough-grader), but I really couldn't find anything that would make this only 4 circles. A terrific property. Firstly, it was impleccibly clean and well maintained (the common areas, breakfast area and our room). We were lucky enough to share the Lighthouse Suite and... More

We stayed in a first floor room with a direct view of the strait and the lighthouse and had a private balcony. The king bed had wonderful linens and extra pillows that I had requested. The room appeared to have been recently updated , had beautiful colors and comfortable chairs. The room was very clean and serviced twice daily. The... More

We stayed only one night at Hotel Iroquois and, despite cold and rainy weather, it was a bright spot in our vacation. It is a convenient "hop, skip and a jump" from Shepler's Ferry so within a very short walking distance, even in damp weather. The porter was sent to obtain our luggage, unbeknownst to us, so we did not... More

We only stayed at this property 1 night, it was lovely, but our room was on the side by the ferry dock and it was bright and loud until very late at night. The room was nice, but had no air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open, which was a problem with the noise from the ferry... More

We stayed in the Biddle Point Suite overlooking the straits, the bridge and the street (the room shown on the website). The bed was large and comfortable and the sitting area near the windows was very relaxing. The service for the room was great - turndown and daily cleaning was prompt and thorough. The morning breakfast was what we needed... More

A few footsteps from the Star Ferry landing brings you to the Iroquois Hotel, just at the end of the main business area on Mackinac Island, in easy walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. We stayed three nights in a king room that faced the strait with a direct view of the lighthouse. The room included a sitting area... More

Our first visit to Mackinac and our first stay at this Hotel will definitely bring us back again. The staff was absolutely professional and could not have been any more accommodating. The room had that quintessential Mackinac Island flair and decoration, very comfortable with lovely amenities. The hotel's setting on the water at the end of town could not have... More

Great location. Step off the Star Ferry, turn left and in less than one block you enter a hotel surrounded by gardens and located on the point, enabling you to view the bay. Service is a 10. Advise ahead and they pick-up and later drop off your bags at the ferry. Located on Main st. ,thus everything is within walking... More

We always stay at the Iroquois and it never disappoints. Staff is great and will go out of their way for you. Rooms are amazing - pick one on upper floors if you can handle the stairs - great views (ours had a view of the lake, lighthouse and the docks) and the decoration is lovely. Beautiful flower beds and... More

I took a family vacation to Mackinac Island in August and had a perfect stay at Hotel Iroquois. The hotel is beautiful and well kept and the staff members were warm. They were knowledgeable and helped us plan our activities every day. I think the most notable part of our experience was the dining staff at the Carriage House Restaurant.... More
