We visited Mackinac Island for the first time for a business meeting at the Grand Hotel, but stayed at the Iroquois. We are very happy with our decision. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. The location was excellent and the hotel is very cheery, nicely decorated, and clean. When we first arrived on the ferry, we noticed people... Stayed there for two nights with my two children, ages 10 and 6 in July 2014. I had stayed there several years ago with my husband, and did not remember it being as nice as it is now. It was very clean- our room was impeccable. Rooms were an average size, as was the bathroom. The location is the best... More

We stayed one night at the hotel. We had a first floor deluxe lake view with a small outside deck attached. It was 700.00 a night which did not include dinner. In my opinion you are better off staying at the Grand Hotel in a view room or named suite for a little over 1000.00 a night as it includes... More

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Restaurant is superb with great view. We were on third floor - be prepared to climb stairs as there is no elevator apparently. Recommend paying extra for lake view room to minimize noise level from the ferry announcements that go on till midnight.

Although we have eaten at the Iroquois several times, this is the first time we've stayed overnight here. What a wonderful experience! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms, quiet and elegant surroundings. Thank you for making our stay so very pleasant - and thank you for the room upgrade, which was much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here... More

I've not stayed at the hotel. I so enjoy the patio dinning and the quiet it gives along with the views. I've been many times. It really is like a retreat from the craziness of the island. Service is great. The food is very well prepared. Can be a little expensive for some. Don't miss out.

I've stayed at the Iroquois 10 times over the years, and each time the hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the staff is first class all the way. For guests not interested in the hoopla that is the Grand, the Iroquois provides nicer rooms and a more flexible stay, given the absence of the dining schedule, etc. The Carriage House... More

The hotel was awesome!! The room was very clean, comfortable and luxurious. Great view of Lake Huron! The staff was very helpful, especially appreciated the porter bringing the luggage from the ferry to the hotel and back.

Each year we come up during the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. One of the enjoyable parts of the time we spend is knowing we are at the Iroquois Hotel. It is absolutely charming and the staff is so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are impecably clean and I was was amazed to see the towels were from the... More

Truly exquisite, from the unlikely expanse of the vistas that unfold from this island of refinement and elegance, to the perfection of the details in the rooms and especially in the service. My husband is in the hotel business, has painfully high standards, and this is the only hotel where we will return, year after year after year....
