Quiet location just a few blocks east of the fort, wake to birds singing & the occasional clip-clop of horses, no downtown crowds. Very pretty, comfy rooms. They now have A/C in every room + ceiling fans + cotton quilts, tvs just have a few channels (island is so beautiful, don't get stuck watching!!). A few rooms have private attached... More

We expected a simple breakfast, location away from the masses but within easy walking distance. We knew about the hill to the front door but it was only about a minute walk up. Sharing a bathroom was a little like staying with a relative. You just politely wait your turn. The garden offered a quiet place to have coffee and... More

We stayed here for one night, and it was so nice! The rooms were very clean and the hosts' generosity was beyond expectations! We had taken food with us, and they were very generous: allowing us to heat up our food during lunch and dinner! All in all, they were very accommodating and we had a wonderful experience!

My husband and I stayed here in August 2010 so I am a bit behind but we did enjoy our stay. The location was great (minus the steep hill getting there) and the place was clean. It is an authentic B&B so be prepared to share the home with several others and to keep your voice at a reasonable level.... More

Prior to staying I tried to find a good, descriptive review of this property and was disappointed by the lack of reviews and photos available. Unlike most other B&B's, you are unable to view pictures of the available rooms prior to your stay. I reluctantly booked here because on short notice it was the only place that had availability! The... More

My wife and I stayed two nights here in June. We had a lovely time. The Chateau Lorraine was great. It was quaint, up a small street away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. We had a shared bathroom on the 2nd floor. Queen bed. Even a small bed for a toddler, which we did not bring.... More

CL is close to everything , was quaint and quiet and clean! Bike parking. Yummy breakfasts everyday. Fruit, quiche, cereal and boiled eggs. Great coffee too! The homemade bread was delicious...they even gave me the recipe! Felt like home. The best part was Marcie (our caretaker) who charmed our 4 yr old son from the moment he met her. He... More

Although we cannot yet compare this bed and breakfast to others on the island, we had a nice 2 night stay here. We stayed in a room with a private bath. The room was clean, charming, moderately sized, and even had an air conditioning unit (although we didn't need it). The breakfast is a self-serve with hard boiled eggs, cereal,... More

The place itself is charming. It could use a coat of paint on the outside to spruce up the curb appeal, but it is otherwise very nice. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and we were fortunate enough to stay in a room with a kitchenette. Bonus!! My only complaint was the breakfast portion of the meal. Other B&Bs... More

Never met owner during stay. No ice, no shampoo just a Cake of soap. No help planning our tour of island. No help with anything. A below average B and B. Limited service.
