We have stayed at several hotels and b&bs on Mackinac Island. The Cloghaun is a comfortable, friendly place to stay. We stayed in the Thomas, one of two rooms on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the street and with a distant view of the water. Although there was little variance in the breakfast, it was delicious. I have... More

We only had one night to stay...could have used a few more days just sitting on the porch. I didn't hear any noise from tours or carriages going by except for the horses. We stayed in Room 11 in the back. The inn itself was very quiet...we did have a little street noise late (revelers going home) but we had... More

Very well-maintained house from the late 1800s. Rooms were quiet and immaculate. Smaller than most hotel rooms, but if you're spending time there, you're missing the island...Go to the right and you can dip your feet in the water while gazing at the bridge...Go to the left and you'll see some historical stuff...Go straight and you can eat and shop.... We had a fantastic stay at the Cloghaun B & B! The breakfast always had a delicious egg casserole, bagels, sweet bread, fruit, coffee, juice and a variety of teas. Every afternoon from 3 - 5 was tea time. There were always at least 2 sweets to nibble, coffee and a large assortment of teas. It was quite pleasant to... More

This was our fifth stay at Cloghaun - a lovely restored 1880s Victorian home. When we return each June, the owner, inn keepers and staff welcome and treat us as if we were family. This place and these people completely relax us and are soothing to the soul. The home is filled with beautiful antiques, and the breakfast is plentiful... More

My wife and I just spent two wonderful days on Macinaw Island Michigan. We stayed at the Cloghaun Bed and Breakfast. The Price was very reasonable and the breakfast was delicious. I cannot praise Paul and Marti Enough. The B & B is run by a mother and her son. Both are friendly and knowledgeable. This restored home is one... More

We stayed here last week for our anniversary. The house is simply beautiful! We stayed in Room 7 (Anita). We stayed for two nights and it was possibly the most relaxing stay I have ever had. The innkeepers were both extremely hospitable and helpful. It was also a good mix of chatting with us, but also giving my husband and... More
