Wow, what more can I say. Our stay was wonderful, and words cannot do it justice. We honeymooned here 10/22-10/23, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Our trip was spectacular, and the shining highlight was the Cloghaun! We stayed in room 10, which had a large, beautiful, antique tub and bed along with period art and furniture. The... More

Mackinac Island provides a variety of B&B options and the Cloghaun is right up there with the best the island offers. It is conveniently located just a block up from the ferry dock, the front porch provided a perfect spot to watch the comings and goings of the island visitors and residents, the flowers were spectacular thanks to the loving... We stayed for three nights in room 11. The first time in this room. Its a very nice private room. It has its own entrance into the bed and breakfast and its own outside entrance so you can come and go without worrying that you'll disturb anyone. It has a queen size bed and private bath. There is only a... More

This is was my first time to Mackinac Island for a romantic getaway. The house was very warm and cozy and we had a room with a private entrance. Every one was very friendly, plus the location great! Can't wait to go back!

Charm, Personality, Romance, and Comfort all rolled into one of the oldest Victorian homes on the Island. This charming home will take you on a journey back to the 1800's with modern amenities. Great location on the island - close to every main attraction. Let's not forget Tea at 3pm with Fudge, cookies, and Brownies. Great breakfast in the morning!... More

Perfect location, better than Main Street...but still providing street action and great view! Friendly inn keepers, terrific breakfast, lovely rooms, large porch with swing and great place for an afternoon or evening cup of tea or glass of wine! Spent a delightful 3 days and 2 nights here!

We agree with everyone else: the Cloghaun is a comfortable home for exploring the island. We had three in a room, with an air mattress taking up all the floor, but it was worth the mild inconvenience. We'll be back, for more than one night next time.

This was my first bed and breakfast experience, and I believe that we choose one of the nicest places on the island to stay. The rooms are set with lovely Victorian antique furniture, the breakfast was good, with a home baked egg casserole at the heart of the breakfast board. Tea featured Mackinac Island fudge, and a pecan pastry, along... More

The innkeepers (Marti & Paul) as well as Clover, always make our stay sooooo enjoyable! They always treat us like family and make our stay so enjoyable. House and rooms are clean as well as comfortable. The breakfast is home made and delicious! Desserts at tea time a simply decadent. Our favorite place to stay on MI/MI

We loved our stay at Cloghaun B & B. From high tea in the afternoon, to plenty of variety for breakfast, clean comfy beds and rooms, and sitting on the porch watching life on Mac Island go by. Everyone was so very friendly and helpful. Pat and Joan from Pinckney
