My time at the Cloghaun was perfect. I have stayed overnight on the island several times and this is my new favorite location. It is perfectly located up a short hill and a block back from Main Street. The history of the home is predominately displayed throughout the house and the little details were wonderful, I loved the short read... More

We had only one day on the island, so we arrived early, walked a block and a half from the Star Line dock and left our bag with Paul. We returned by 2:30 and found room 4-"Anna" with two queen beds and two fans. We were invited to afternoon tea, and it was a delight to cool our heels and... More

"Welcome Home," the Innkeeper greeted us when we arrived at this attractive B&B conveniently located just a block from the ferry landings.    After giving us a thorough explanation of the house, the Island's attractions and our room we were ushered into the dining room for Tea Time beverages and baked goodies. Our room was small as most of the... More

Enchanting! Truly a home away from home! Loved cool breezes though open windows; musical horse hooves; enjoying biking and hiking; thanking God for all His provisions. A beautifully prepared room & high tea! Gardening I imagine provided by angels!

There was fudge and iced tea, hot tea all sorts, pitcher of ice water, drink mixes, there was more i just cant remember.... More

The inn is gorgeous. It is filled with beautiful furniture and family memories. We loved our room (wished we had air conditioning but, it was unusually warm outside). The innkeepers are lovely and Maggie is adorable. Breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect! Hope to see you in 2016!

Location...location...location. Loved that it was back one block from the main street since it made it quieter. Still there is plenty of people and horses to watch as we sat on our balcony or on the porch. Convenient to town and the ferry. Beautiful grounds. Lovely rooms. Since the house is still owned by family, there is a lot of... More

My husband sails in the Pt Huron to Mackinac race nearly every summer. We've stayed at a few different places on the island, including The Grand Hotel. This year, I wanted to spend our 3 nights at Cloghaun B&B...Great decision :) We were there from 7/20 through 7/22/15. Carlene checked me in and showed me around and I noticed right... More

Cloghaun Bed and Breakfast is such a special place, more a frame of mind. The accommodations are stellar, breakfast always wonderful, and the front porch the best spot on the island. Marty and Paul are so welcoming,it feels like coming home. The relaxed pace of the island is so refreshing, can't think of another placed like it. An experience we return... More

My husband and I spent a few days at The Cloghaun last week. Besides being so convenient to everything (1 block from the ferry) it is a beautiful, cozy place to stay. We loved the breakfast and afternoon tea. Sitting on the porch watching the horses trot by and smelling the lilacs was so relaxing. We can't wait to return.
