The room was very clean when we got there. It smelled good also. We were traveling with our dog and it was wonderful. They left out: a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a bottle of water. The Bistro on the Greens is the only restaurant on the island where your dog can stay with you at your table. Others say... More

Beautiful resort and grounds. A nice walk from town but luggage is loaded at the ferry docks so no lugging suitecases. Went on the off season to enjoy the island when its less crowded and prices are cheaper, but we were not impressed with the accommodations. Room, bed, and bathroom were very small. We were near a service entrance so... More

This property is very beautiful and well designed. The restaurants were great, and all the amenities were very nice. However, there is one thing that can always ruin a trip. That is NOISE!!! We had the Michigan Suite. This is one of their signature suites and is not cheap. One would think that this suite would be tucked away in... More

This resort has been hit or miss over the years, and we hope that new ownership will make it more appealing and consistent. Our reservations were correct this year, air conditioning was added last year, and the quality of the food was better -though we experienced two mis-orders that may have been due to language barriers with our server. We... More

We just stayed at the Mission Point Resort its a great place to stay we were there for a friends wedding the rooms are a bit dated, is that it is the farthest place from the downtown area. So you need to either get a carriage ride or a 20 min walk!! The Round Island Restaurant was good food and... More

We have stayed at a Bed and Breakfast on Mackinac Island whenever my husband competes in the Chicago to Mackinac Yacht Race, and I could not get a reservation there this year. Of the choices I had of available properties, Mission Point was the most expensive but was closest to the harbor. The room was small, coffee supplies were not... More

My family of five spend a week on Mackinac Island during the first week of June. The weather was just right and there weren't too many tourist (yet). We were a little early for the lilacs though. We stayed at the Mission Point Resort in a two bedroom suite with a hot tub on the patio. My children really enjoyed... More

We spent two nights at MPR and got the Family Package which included a number of tickets and vouchers for various things on the island. While the vouchers offset some of the costs of the package we still did not feel the $365 per night was worth it. The junior suite was very clean but cramped and dated. The bath... More

We have been staying at MPR for 6 years and would not stay at any other hotel on the island. The only better way to stay is if you booked a cottage or condo, otherwise MPR is the way to go. Great staff, clean rooms, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

A great place to visit! Accommodations were nice, but a bit dated. The resort does have a historical significance so that made sense once we were there. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Getting luggage on to Star Line ferry and to hotel was super-easy! Would certainly stay there again. We got the family package so many things like... More
