It was only a one night stay, but I didn't expect what I got for the money. The room was standard but had all that was required, tea, coffee, Freeview television and a clean and fairly roomy bathroom. Real Ale was available at the bar along with better than average food. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would suggest... More

I have eaten here more times than I could count and I've never really had anything unsatisfactory to note about it. For what you pay, it is very good value. It is definitely an improved experience now that you no longer have to place your orders at the bar. The menu has plenty to choose from and the specials board... More

Due to going to a function at Chateau Impney this accommodation was the nearest we could get and reasonably priced. On arrival we had a late lunch and the food was very good. Our room faced onto the A38 and at no point during the night did I manage to sleep for then an hour before being woken by traffic... More

I don't remember the number of the room we were given, but we arrived on a sunny afternoon and had to draw the curtains so passers by couldn't enjoy our slow motion unpacking! (We'd just done a 15 mile walk and were exhausted) Having said that, the room was as expected for the price - and I enjoyed the evening... More

We stayed for only one night whilst attending a wedding but found The Crown very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had an evening meal which was cooked really well and the drinks are a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and toiletries.... More

The managment and staff are very helpful, nothing seems to much for them. The room was light and very spaceious. Very clean. Plenty of tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Evening meals where 2 for 1 and very value for money. Looking forward to our next visit.
