Rockwell Lake Lodge is truly a hidden treasure tucked away basically in the middle of nowhere. The rooms are beautiful appointed with a kitchenette, small living area with electric fireplace, small table and chairs, and a comfortable bed(s). This was our second trip as we were there a year ago for snowshoeing on the grounds and we were very pleased... More

Don't miss this wonderful Hidden gem. Groomed trails, a variety options, lovely location. The lodge is gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious, clean and each have an electric fireplace and kitchenette. Luanne is a creative, excellent chef.

I was going fishing on the Pere Marquette and the PM Lodge didn't have space, so I internet searched around and found this Lodge some miles away that looked nice. It was way more than nice. I stayed for three nights and this was just a terrific experience. The Lodge is next to (not quite on) a small lake and... More

We visited the Rockwell Lake Lodge in the winter for a get away weekend and cross-country skiing. The lodge is very comfortable, with large nicely appointed rooms. Rooms include a small dining area and a small kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, dishes etc in addition to very comfortable beds, and living room set up with fireplace and flatscreen TV. The lodge... More

We just returned from a wonderful time at Rockwell Lodge. We reserved three rooms in the lodge to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday with kids and grandparents. The resort is owned by Hillsdale College and is also the site for their biological research facility. The employees were wonderful and very accommodating for our 8 year old and for the birthday... We "discovered" the Rockwell Lake Lodge when searching for a place to stay as we biked the beautiful White Pine Trail near Leroy. We are very glad we did, and will definitely stay again. It's easy to feel as though you are hidden away from the world as you drive into the woods, on a dirt road, away from cities... More

My wife and I spent three days at The Rockwell Lake Lodge, and I must say that this lodge is a class act. Great hiking trails, beautiful lake, comfortable rooms and the staff makes you feel like family. You want to get away from it all, come to The Rockwell Lake Lodge, which is only an hour south of (TVC)... More

This was the most relaxing weekend, I have ever had. From the time, we were greeted by the staff till we checked out, everything was very very nice. Staff showed us to our room, explained the lodge layout, told us about what was available for our use and encouraged us to partake in the afternoon refreshments (homemade). The all suite... More

We stayed here for two nights on a spring discount special that included dinner. We had a wonderful time. The lodge is on the 600+ acre Hillsdale College biological station. It sits on a hill by a small lake. There are lots of hiking trails right out the back door. There were loons on the lake that we heard calling.... More
