I made a reservation at the Stearns two weeks in advance and was told I would have a king size bed. When I got there, I was told that they upgraded me to a queen bed with a jacuzzi. I would have rather had a king bed, but I took the queen even though we would not use the jacuzzi.... More

We liyve staying at the Stearns when we are in Ludington. It is a cute, historic place that is within walking distance to everything downtown. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice workout room, and great rates.

This is an old downtown hotel across from the courthouse. My friend and I were looking for a place that we could afford. All the other hotels were triple figures. This one was less and so we questioned it. However, what a great surprise it was. The rooms are huge -- as are the hallways. They are restoring it to... More

A fairly old classic hotel that has had some upgrades over the years. The old charm is still there and the people are very nice.Room slightly dated but very clean. Prices very reasonable. I will stay there again and again.

Beautiful, historical hotel! When you walk into the lobby, you feel like you are walking back in time. They have up-to-date amenities including a tanning bed! Very quiet and love the closet space! It is in walking distance of great restaurants and shops and close to the beach. Stearns has convenience mastered.

Had not been back in 10 years, I stayed on the 3rd floor it was quiet peaceful restful 2 nights. Pricing was right and the staff very nice. Jeff B. can give you an impromptu history lesson on the majestic property and his family has been running this since the 60's . The Tiki Nightclub has a personality all it's... More

This was a cool historical hotel at a great price, best price for lodging in the area. I wasn't sure what we were going to get but was very happy. We stayed at a higher priced place the first night and this place was a better deal. There's a lot of unique features in the building to see and it... More

We stayed at the Stearns about five years ago, and enjoyed it very much..but it was in need of a little sprucing up. We decided on a whim to stay there again this past weekend. The cool old timey charm is still there AND much of it has been updated! We had a king room on the third floor..huge! And... More
