We were at the end of our trip and stayed here before returning "down below" to southern MI. We did not have reservations and were just looking for a place to stay. I liked the location near the water and took a chance. What a wonderful delight!! The person at the desk was so nice and personable. The room in... more

My wife and I have been staying at the Inn at least once a year for the last 13 yrs.We always book a cat. 6 room, with a balcony looking towards the lake.We have a wonderful view of the lifgthouse,Lake Michigan, with the most perfect sunsets we have ever seen. Room decor was nice. We booked the category 7, top of the line room. Not worth the price. Room smelled musty and bed was like sleeping on a rock. When we told owners only offered to give us a gift certificate. Would not go back so we didn't take the gift certificate. We reserved 2 nites expecting a 236.00 a... more

This was our 2nd stay at the Snyder's Shoreline & they fulfilled expectations. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy or romantic stay, then this is your place. I highly recommend the lake view rooms, even though they are a little more pricey than the other hotels. The staff is warm, friendly & helpful. The pool is above average,... more

We came on the Fourth of July, without a reservation. The hostess was very friendly and offered us a handful of options, from rather inexpensive to a bit pricey. We chose a room with a deck and view of the lake (one of the more pricey options we had). Truthfully, there is a parking lot (for the public boat ramp)... more

The Inn is a pleasant place and we had a nice, clean room. The room was spacious - we had an end unit on the first floor. While it was a bit too cool to enjoy the balcony, it was nice to be out on for short periods of time, I tend to stay at hotels, so this was a... more

Returning from a long road trip from Minnesota to Boston, stopping off before taking the ferry across Lake Michigan and home, I was looking for something other than the inland Ludington offerings. I am a water person and wanted to be near Lake Michigan. My room was reasonable ($119), clean, and on the lake side. Even though a parking lot... more

The view was great, the rooms were clean, I have been going to ludington for over 40 years. When snyders opened I started saying there ever since. Anyone that would complain about it probably would complain no matter where they stayed! I will be returning for the fall colors in october. more

I was ripped off big time. The "balcony" was 14 inches off the grass, which they were mowing (I am allergic to grass). We saw a few different rooms, each had its own bed spreads (bought from rummage sales?) and artwork on the walls (appeared to be from rummage sales). Each room was decorated with a "work of art" made... more

First I agree with other reviewers regarding the view; while technically on the lakefront, your view is actually of a boat launch parking lot. If you know that going in, nothing to be disappointed in. The room itself was in great shape -- clean, plenty of room, and very nicely decorated. The bathroom looked brand new. The staff was pleasant... more
