I cannot say enough about this sweet little inn that sits where the main street meets the beach and northern break water pier. I planned on staying one night and continuing on with my travels, but decided that this inn had such a good feel to it and the area itself was so magical that I asked to stay another... More

We spent one night at the hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is right across from the beach and you have a wonderful view of the sunset right off your balcony. The lady serving breakfast n the morning was extremely warm and friendly and did everything she could do take care of all your breakfast needs. In... More

My family and I have stayed here off and on for several years and have found the location superb and view beautiful. We had previously not had small children with us, all 18 and over. As with most families we have been blessed with grandchildren and wanted to share the experience with them. This is where my disappointment lies. We... More

The Shoreline reviews are pretty accurate. Nice clean place, obvious effort to make the rooms a little more special than the chain places. We had a main floor room overlooking the parking lot as that was what was available. There are rooms overlooking the lake but the reviewers say you pay for the view. This is quite a big place... My daughter and I stayed here this month for the Ludington Art Fair. I picked it for the location, so that we could walk to the beach, the art fair, and downtown. The Inn is ideally located for this. We were in room 212, which faced the water and we did have a beautiful view of the sunset each night.... More

I have to agree with the travelers who said this inn is dated "grandma's décor." It is a bit pricey, too. The hosts are very nice, and although my room was next to the pool (no view) and felt as if I were in a cubby hole, I was comfortable and slept well. I enjoyed going outside and seeing people... Snyder's Shoreline Inn was my family's last overnight stay on our Lake Michigan Circle Tour. I'd overlooked the high price--and some of the less favorable reviews--because of its amazing "Lake Michigan sunset" views. We loved the location. On the day we arrived, my kids played on the playground, climbed up and down the dunes, and took a long walk out... More
