It's always a great experience to check in to your lodging and find the owners are friendly, knowledgeable and offer a wonderful property. When you meet Bill and Jane, as you must if you're travelling through Luddington, you'll be impressed with how much thought has gone into decorating the Victorian era B & B and how excited they are to... We recently stayed the night with our traveling friends here at the Lamplighters B&B. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by innkeeper Jane who was in the process of baking cookies as a treat for her guests. The aroma of fresh baked cookies set the stage for the exquisite gourmet breakfast that she and her husband,Bill , prepared the... More

Thanks Bill & Jane for the perfect stay. The room was cozy, the bed hard enough so it worked for me but not so hard that it didn't work for my wife, the food was excellent, and the location was ideal to get around town. This was our first b&b stay and you've spoiled us. All of our future trips... More

My wife and I were extremely impressed with the Lamplighter B&B. Bill and Jane were exceptional hosts, providing friendly service that made us feel right at home and breakfasts that were some of the best we've ever had. We highly recommend The Lamplighter, confident that you will have a quality experience.

We so enjoyed stay this wonderful B&B. Jane, Bill and Maggie were the BEST hosts. The home was beautiful and the location to downtown Ludington & the lighthouse were very convenient. Highly recommend! Best breakfast too. Will definitely go back in the near future.

My husband and I often drive from Maryland to Illinois then to the family cabin in Northern Wisconsin. This trip we decided to skip the Chicago area and head straight to the cabin via Ludington, Michagan where we could then take a ferry (watch for another review of the ferry!) to Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Because the ferry leaves Ludington bright and... More

We certainly enjoyed our stay at the Lamplighter. The candlelight breakfast was served in am after coffee on the patio. Baked cherry oatmeal. fresh baked bananna bread, fresh fruit followed by strawberry crepes and steaming hot coffee with fresh raspberry orange juice. Unbelievable

We stayed one night at the Lamplighter on May 16, 2015. We can't say enough about this B&B. Bill and Jane were the best hosts, the rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was fantastic. No detail was left unattended. We will definitely stay here again.

We have been vacationing in Ludington for many years----first camping in the State Park, and later, renting a condo. This was our first time to stay at The Lamplighter, and now we've been spoiled! It is a beautifully decorated grand old house, and Bill and Jane are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, as was conversation with the hosts!... More

The Lamplighter B&B is a well kept Victorian-style house with five guest rooms (one on the main floor and four on the second floor). Bill and Jane (the owners) welcome us at the door. Jane gives us a tour of the house. We follow her up the beautiful oak stairway to our guest room on the second floor – the... More
