We stayed one night at the Lamplighter on May 16, 2015. We can't say enough about this B&B. Bill and Jane were the best hosts, the rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was fantastic. No detail was left unattended. We will definitely stay here again.

We have been vacationing in Ludington for many years----first camping in the State Park, and later, renting a condo. This was our first time to stay at The Lamplighter, and now we've been spoiled! It is a beautifully decorated grand old house, and Bill and Jane are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, as was conversation with the hosts!... More

The Lamplighter B&B is a well kept Victorian-style house with five guest rooms (one on the main floor and four on the second floor). Bill and Jane (the owners) welcome us at the door. Jane gives us a tour of the house. We follow her up the beautiful oak stairway to our guest room on the second floor – the... More

We visit the Lamplighter Inn about every three months like clock work. We love this place. Bill and Jane do a phenomenal job with this b&b. Everything is clean and well stocked. The breakfast is always delightful. This is well worth the visit if you are in Ludington area. It is a great escape for the daily hustle and bustle.... More

We had a wonderful time at the Lamplighter, even during winter. Jane was so inviting and easy to talk to, all while allowing us to be on our own without feeling hovered over. They really thought of everything when it comes to guest services and supplies needed. The house is gorgeous and learning about its history was an added bonus.... More

We recently stayed at the Lamplighter while visiting family in the area. We had a wonderful experience, thanks to our hosts Bill and Jane (and Maggie). The breakfast was fantastic, very elegant and tasty with clearly a lot of fussing to get it just right (we're just glad we stayed) and all around warm hospitality. We'll be back again. -Joe... More

Jane and BIll went out of their way to provide us with a most comfortable stay. Their breakfasts will suit all tastes (Jane goes out of her way to learn your preferences), and her cooking is special. Beverages and treats are available at all hours. The home and rooms are beautifully appointed with modern conveniences and an older charm. The... More

We are so glad we chose Lamplighter Bed and Breakfast. Bill and Jane were very kind and offered the best hospitality, the most delicious breakfast and Maggie the dog greeted us with her tail just wagging with excitement. Our room was spotless, clean and very comfortable. The cleaning service kept our towels replaced, toilet paper and kleenex full for each... More

We recently stayed at this bed and breakfast for 3 nights and it was great. The rooms were very clean. They were a little small but that is something we expected for a B and B. The owners of the place were very friendly and offered great customer service. Their dog was super cute and friendly. The breakfast was very... More

All the comforts of home. Healthy breakfasts, homemade cookies/tea/coffee 24/7, small fridge, our bikes locked in the Lamplighter Inn garage and the gift of time to watch the sunset and ferry come in.
