We just returned from a wonderful time spent at the Lamplighter in Ludington, MI. We were treated with the warmest hospitality and the breakfasts were to die for. We stayed at the Lamplighter on the evening of 6-9-06 after finding it through AAA. The hosts Jane & Bill Carpenter were terrific. They made dinner arrangements prior to our arrival at a lovely restaurant--P.G. Steamers. Their gourmet breakfast the next day was wonderful and the room was spotless.
