Came to Ludington to visit some friends. They live not far from this Inn so this is why we picked this place. This is a gem. Motel has an older layout but the rooms have been updated. No tub, just a shower. The shower is not very big. In fact, the bathroom is not very big. However, everything is clean.... More

We had such a delightful time at Summers Inn! Wonderfully updated motel with a bed and breakfast! Wine, gardens, a library that includes games, excellent breakfast. Worth the stop to Ludington!! Excellent value! HWalk to town. The beaches are amazing and don't miss the walk to the lighthouse!

My wife and I stayed here one night while traveling up the coast. This hotel may be old but the owners have updated the rooms and keep the grounds nice. They serve breakfast and were very helpful providing details of where to go eat and things to see in the area. We enjoyed the lighthouse and the beach area where... More

Spent Thursday night and had a wonderful, fun girls night, then Friday the hubs joined us until Sunday. The Inn was wonderful. Rooms are immaculate, grounds are beautiful, relaxing, and calming. Breakfast is delightful. Keith and Suzette are wonderful hosts. Ludington has lots to offer from shopping to site seeing to charter fishing to just relaxing. I always leave a... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights this past week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our second visit to Summers Inn and it won't be our last. Quiet, relaxing..best breakfast around. Owners go out of their way to see you have all you need. Can't wait to visit again next year...go there, you won't be sorry.

My husband and I along with 2 other couples, just spent a weekend at this lovely, peaceful motel. Definitely not your standard box hotel, this establishment is a renovated motel from the 50's brought to life with soft friendly details that draw you in and melt away your stress. The rooms are neat and clean and make you feel like... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much at the Summers Inn, along with my parents, and sister. It is a clean, charming place, and we appreciated the many tasteful and creative design touches inside and out. The owners, Keith and Suzette, obviously enjoy what they do and take great pride in providing a comfortable, unique and special place... More

This definitely offers more than a standard motel and rooms are decorated to a good standard although there were one or two areas that needed some attention such as a crack in the bathroom door and the fact that the shower dripped for a good 10 minutes after you turned it off despite turning the tap off very firmly. I... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Summers Inn and it was suprisingly great for a romantic getaway. Besides the beach, shopping in town of Ludington, restaurants nearby, the hotel provided a relaxed atmosphere, with evening wine tasting. We were able to sample wine, buy a bottle and take to the outdoor patio which had a large open... More

A few years ago we found the Summers Inn and have stayed many times since then. The owners are the best and really take pride in making their inn special. My wife and I spent over an hour walking around the property admiring the creative ways that the garden has been planted and the landscaping had been created. It's a... More
