I arrived in Ludington via the car ferry, SS Badger, from Wisconsin in the evening. Driving through the town was nice but it was closed, so I didn't get to enjoy it. Located a 10-15 minute drive from the ferry, it's one block from the shore with lovely beaches within walking (or driving) distance from the property. Being a motor... More

Visiting the area for 24 hours. Wife's family lived and was a regular summer visitor Ludington. Was just looking for a simple place to stay for a quick visit and this is the place. Downtown a nice walk and the beach is right across the street. Clean rooms hot shower and no frills prefect for our needs. Summertime can provide... More

Walking distance to the beach (which is amazing) but too far if you are walking to the SS Badger, if you do not have a vehicle you would need a taxi. The room was clean the outdoor pool was nice tho people sat outside our patio door near the pool when I was trying to get to sleep. The pool... More

While other places are a little closer to shopping and restaurants, we loved the closeness to the beach. The staff and housekeeping were excellent. Kids loved playing shuffleboard, which was popular with other guests, the cookies, and the free bike use. If you can, bring your own bikes as the bikes there were very abused from use and not often... More

We only stayed at Nader's for one night as we were taking the S.S. Badger auto ferry to Wisconsin the next morning. We were traveling with our dog; he was welcomed at Nader's. We walked to the dog beach next to the boat ramp (be sure not to enter the town park beach or grass - they'll give you a... More

Just got back from 4 days at Nader's. Rented three standard rooms for us and family we stayed with. The standard rooms are pet friendly which is nice. There is also a dog walking path and fenced dog park at nearby Cartier park (walking distance). Very friendly staff. Helped us with all our needs. Including mailing back a phone charger... More

Nice family place with pool and well kept grounds. Larger clean rooms with patios and very friendly hosts. Had to leave the next morning to catch the ferry to Wisconsin so we only got to stay one night. Ludington and the surrounding area is very nice..next time we'll stay longer

We stayed at Nader's on our first trip to Ludington. It has a lot going for it. The staff is very helpful and friendly, including the great cleaning staff. It was only about a 5-minute walk to the city beach, where we were able to watch the sunset both evenings. The pool is very nice. Our room on the ground... More

Nader's is a great place for the budget traveler. The pros are: clean rooms, grills available, free bikes to borrow, pets are allowed, nice staff, microwave and fridge in all the rooms. They are also easy walking distance to the city beach and a bike ride away from downtown Ludington. The only con was that the folding cot and pull... More

We stayed for just one night. 4 rooms. The rooms are pretty nice, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The office folks were very friendly. I think they are a bit over priced for what the rooms are but other than that they were fine. I know some people like that they allow pets but personally I am not a... More

Ipeck93, Thank you for your review. Although we are pet-friendly we never allow and dog on any of our furniture, so you can rest assure that you will NEVER be sleeping on a bed that a dog has slept on. Also keep in mind that not every room is pet-friendly. We have suites that are pet/allergy free. Please consider a... More
