It was a bed and a hot shower. Bed wasn't very comfy, but the room seemed pretty clean (however very dated) and it was easy to walk to downtown from our room. It was also way cheaper than every other place we found. Last minute decision to stay in town. 95 bucks for a Friday night. Would be decent for... More

Clean, yes.... Comfortable not really. Beds are hard, pillows are flat. It's super duper dated so you feel it's dirty because everything looks like it's from the 70's or 80's. I'm sure they clean it and keep it up but wow update it already! The air conditioners in the windows kept you either cold or muggy hot. It's just not... More

How people like this can operate a business like a motel boggles the MIND. After check in, went back into the office to get some light bulbs (two to be exact), was told all lights were in working condition upon check in and was informed there would be a $20 dollar charge added to our bill. Yeah right!! That turned... More

It was a nice place but nothing special. I felt the room rates were a bit high. No coffee or breakfast of any sort was offered. Our room was close to the road so we did hear some traffic noise, but not bad. Beds were comfortable and clean. The room was clean.

I love staying at the Ventura. I have stayed there at least seven times. The low rates mean I can stay two nights and relax for a day in Ludington before I sail on the historic SS Badger, another Ludington treasure that delivers service and fun for affordable prices. The Ventura room is always clean, large, and cute. The free... More

My husband and I recently spent nights here many times. This Motel was very clean and the staff was helpful. Great Housekeeping, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this motel from the minute I walked in the door. Will be back soon with our other family members. :-)

We have been staying at the Ventura Motel in Ludington for years for our vacations. It is very clean and quiet. The owners are very kind and courteous. It is in a great location, close enough to walk to the beach, walk two blocks to the heart of the city. I don't need a motel with a pool with the... More

I only spent one night here. It was okay, nothing fancy. It provided a comfortable nite sleep and it was okay. They did have coffee in the morning but that was all. Staff was pleasant to me. I would recommend only for a quick stop on way up further north. two. It was t

We are a group of 4 cyclists who like a motel where you can drive right to the door and then park your bikes inside. The rooms were very clean and large. The price at $55 was right. You could walk to the downtown strip or the restaurant a couple of blocks away. We were one mile from the ferry... More

I stayed at this motel for two nights because I was in a wedding here in Ludington. Upon checking in, the owner immediately started treating me with disrespect. I told her there would be 2 of us staying in the room and she looked at me with disgust (it was my friend-a girl- and myself sharing the room to save... More
