This trip was booked as a "family get-a-way" for the weekend. There was a group of about 20 of us. This is definitely a hotel to stay at if you have children. All of the kids really enjoyed themselves as did the adults. The waterslide is great! The kids loved it and so did the adults. The pool and hot... more

Our family (actually 3 families) spent the Holiday Break at this property and plan to make it our Holiday Tradition. The Property and Staff are outstanding! Their rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best hotel offerings I've seen. The slide and pool (of course) were the big hit with the kids! more

The staff is rude and service is very bad. When asked about talking to the GM, the owner came in and he was worse than the staff; favoring the staff and blaming us for complaining about our stay. According to him "we were trying to get our money back". If you are going there just for the slide; it's a... more

I cant say this was the best hotel that I have ever stayed in, but it wasn't the worst either. We never experience any problems per se, it was that the hotel was just a little disappointing. Check-in and Out was smooth and we had no hassels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff was almost too... more

We booked our room at the last minute. We needed to be up very early the next morning to board the SS Badger so we decided to spend the previous night in Ludington rather that driving 1.5 hours from our home prior to sailing on the Badger. Normally in the summer this property requires a two night minimum stay on... more

Me and a business partner planned to stay for five days. After one night, I felt the need to move on to another hotel. Check in was good. I even negotiated a cheaper rate because the pool was in repair at the time. Problem was the room. As I watched T.V. I noticed white dog hair collecting on my shirt.... more

If you are just passing through Ludington or want a place to stay close to Stearns City Park, Ludington State Park, or even Silver Lake (Mac Woods Dune rides) this place is for you. There is nothing special about the hotel except that you get a decent room for a decent price. Don't count on the "splash" part of the... more

Super 8 is generally not the hotel I prefer to stay, but the reviews from Trip Advisor were so positive, and I have a son who loves waterparks, so we decide stay a night. As it turns out, they were in the process of changing into a Best Western, so if your looking for the Super 8, be aware they... more
