We recently stayed at the Sauble resort over the Labor Day weekend. We found it to be a really nice resort. We had a good experience. We stayed in building number 21 and had an great view over looking Hamlin lake. The room was clean and updated. It had a full kitchen ,central AC ,two bedrooms a patio where you... More

We had a great time, the location of the resort was amazing. There is a great pool for the kids (and adults), easy access to lake hamlin, Laundromat on site and a park/ sand area. As for the cottages, they are just alright, a step below your average hotel room, but ours was very clean. There are no dishwashers, so all... More

We had a good time, it was very cold the first night but it warmed up. My only negatives were that there was nothing to wash the dishes with and they have a timed scent spray that goes off that is noisy. But its definitely my style of camping, I would go again.

Our room was such that simply unlocking the door took five minutes because the key would always stick in the door. They provided so very little...Not what they promised. The people were kind and pleasant, but you have to provide pretty much anything you want. The beds are soft and did not feel clean. Their"no refund"policy on any reservation was... More

Cabins seemed to be in the middle of updating. Some of the windows were replaced, along with the furniture. Some of the furniture in Cabin 10 needs to go. It was pretty bad. In all, we just slept there and at an inexpensive price. The view of Lake Hamlin was beautiful, though, and the kids LOVED the pool with slide.... More

We had been to the Ludington area for our honeymoon and wanted to return for a fishing/family weekend. We were budget minded but didn't want to stay in a hotel. This resort was more than we hoped for and we had an 'awesome' weekend. We stayed in #22 and there were no surprises of what to bring. The view was... More

Resort has an old time feeling, cabins 7 thru 10 overlook the lake but also busy traffic on Lakeshore drive and a boat and jet ski rental. Cabin has assorted old furniture, no sheets or towels provided (unless you pay extra), assorted old dishes and cookware but no dish soap, dish towels or paper towels. The gas fireplace was for... Just returned from a week vacation at Sauble Resort with my husband, sister in law her fiancé, and father in law. We stayed in cottage 17 and even though it was close quarters we absolutely enjoyed it!! It was hot, no a/c, but thankfully we brought a couple of box fans. This is in no means a high end hotel/resort... More

My wife and I had scheduled a long weekend trip with our 4 year old daughter. The cottage we stayed in felt like it hadn't been cleaned since they closed it up last. The pool was supposed to be a heated 80 degrees and that was not the case. During our trip it rained and they told us about their... More

We (my husband and myself) stayed at Sauble Resort for a long weekend with our two year old. We had never been to Ludington before so we booked this purely off of other reviews and photos. The resort didn't disappoint. It had a cozy campground appeal, only with cabins which is what we wanted. Our daughter loved the park and... More
