I honestly can't find a single negative thing to mention about this hotel. From the service at the front desk to the newly-renovated rooms, the Marriott in Livonia is a traveller's dream! Upon arrival, I requested a higher floor. The gentleman at the front desk said we could be on the 5th (which is the top) but that it is... more

Thank you for your very generous assessment of our hotel, the Detroit Marriott Livonia. It is a hidden gem in the suburbs of Detroit, although easily accessible to all expressways, and close proximity to outside attractions as well. I am pleased to hear you not only enjoyed your accommodations, and service (I which I will pass along your compliments!) but...

Traveled out of state and stayed at the Marriott Livonia for the sole purpose of visiting Ikea in nearby Canton. I found a walk-in coupon on Roomsaver.com for $59 a night and wow what a deal! The first impression of the staff was awesome -very attentive and accomodating. We had a first floor King room with a patio door that... more

Who would have thought - Detroit suburbs such a nice Marriott. I flew into the metro airport and by staying here (had business in Romeo) I avoided having to drive in any downtown traffic which was a bix plus. Very nice and helpful at the front desk, wanting to make your stay pleasant. They even gave us coupons to their... more

We stayed here with our bowling team for the Womens Championships that came through in 2008, There were 7 of us and we had a great time. I asked that our rooms be close by one another and upon check in the girl was sooooo wonderful she gave us adjoining rooms. The rooms were clean and at the end of... more

I was here for 3 nights on business trip. As others have stated this was a very pleasant stay. Highlights: Connected to mall. I initially read that this mall was "dead" (i.e. on deadmalls.com or something similar). It is not. Very nice to walk up and down during adverse weather and plenty of good stores with a nice food court.... more

Stayed 3 nights in November on business. Overall, was VERY pleased. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was comfortable and newly redone with flat screen TV. Bathroom was well stocked. The bar staff was very friendly. Concierge lounge was good, but small and crowded. Depending on the time you came in for breakfast, your options were limited.... more

My room was clean, the bedding is excellent; really comfortable and fresh-looking, with lots of pillows. Love the duvet - so much nicer than most hotel bedspreads. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Mall is right there for shopping. The bar and restaurant were both very nice - I ate at the bar - really good wine selection, the manager and... more

Stayed here for 4 nights on business. Newly renovated interior and room. Room was nice, flat screen HD TV and very comfortable bed . I was also provided a refrigerator as I requested. Room was beautiful, beds very comfortable. Large flat screen TV with HD. Hotel is connected to mall, restaurants, bars, good for chains. Convenient to hwy, one exit down from HWY 14 to Ann Arbor (20 miles). Ann Arbor has great restaurant choices, but Uof MI is here-driving and parking (all metered) is terrible more
