Booked here because all the other places I knew were fully booked. I was given a "suite", meaning a small apartment with two bedroom, a living room and a kitchen: much more than I needed for a short night during a business trip. The room looked clean but definitively not recently renovated. Breakfast is included and not bad. The only... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We appreciate the kind words regarding our breakfast and the cleanliness of the hotel. We are also in the process of setting a start date for room renovations which are likely to begin near the end of 2016, as we've just completed our lobby expansion to accommodate a new hot... More

I arrived at the hotel after a long day of travel. Upon checking in, they told me they didn't have any rooms available, despite the fact that I had a reservation. They had arranged for me to stay at a nearby non-Marriott brand hotel, which was not as nice as the TownePlace Suites. They get a 2 out of 5... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We certainly understand your position, as we never want to have to relocate any guest that is staying at our hotel. Unfortunately, as an extended stay hotel, sometimes in house guests have unplanned stayovers which may force us into relocating a guest. Although this is rare, it can happen, and... More

Traveling with a friend for a dog event, so we got a two bedroom suite. It was huge, and so comfortable. I think that there were three TVs!! There was a dining table that would seat four. The housekeeping was good, except that they didn't make the beds. Not sure if this is a new trend in suite-type places; this... More

Stayed here for a sports weekend so was in a great location in-between Ann Arbor (Michigan Stadium) and Joe Louis Arena and Ford Field. Was greeted by a friendly gentleman who talked sports with us as he asked why we were in the area.

This hotel feels like a home away from home while we are in Michigan. I have had stays differing in length from 1 night to 1 week at this hotel, and it is always excellent. The staff here make it happen. They get to know you and remember you! I have encountered probably 15 different staff members across all departments,... More

PROS For $80-$100 per night, this hotel is a great value. Continental breakfast is better than most and easy to take on-the-go. 20 minutes to Ann Arbor, 15-20 minutes to Detroit Airport. Comfortable bed. Full kitchen. We didn't use it but the appliances looked new and it seemed well-stocked. CONS Nothing really within walking distance. Other people's cooking smells permeated... My wife and I arrived last night at the hotel much later than we expected, but Ed, who was working the night shift, went to every effort to see that we were comfortable and happy. He is exceptional. The young woman who was handling the front desk and breakfast in the morning was also friendly and helpful. My only issue... More

After a long drive from Canada, we were very tired and in search of a comfortable night's rest. The front desk staff member, Brittney and TownePlace Suites's general manager, Denise, both greeted us at check-in. We asked to see if there might be a complimentary upgrade to our room and both women searched hard to find us the absolutely PERFECT... More

The suite we stayed in for four nights was like being home. There was plenty of space with a bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The old mattresses which other guests complained about have been replaced with comfortable, high quality mattresses. We were told this was the beginning of a planned renovation. The kitchen is next on the list of remodeling.... More

Great hotel, breakfast is simple, but allows you to take it to go. Bedroom is big, with a complete kitchen, always a parking spot close to your apartment. There is a dedicated place to do your laundry.
