Not up to Marriott Courtyard usual standards. The bed was uncomfortable, the walls paper thin, doors slam extremely loud (louder than normal), TV was small/old and placed at an awkward angle to the bed, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the filthiest shower curtain I've ever seen. A friend since told me that the regular Marriott right next... more

A nice spot to stay. It is not a so called hotspot, but for a few days it's OK. Warm welcome at the reception, welwilling staff. Informed me about the things I had to know during my stay. Pleasant room: 2 beds, coffee and tea-making facilities. Nice bathroom. in short comfortable room. Breakfest: good. pleasant service, good variety of food.... more

We stayed for two nights at this hotel, the stay was good. Hotel room was clean and staff was very friendly. Buffet breakfast was good, eggs were cold the second morning. Pool is chilly, it needs to be warmer, we also had to ask front desk for towels because there were none. Theres no change room by the pool so... more

Reservations for 4 rooms were made thru USBC a website for bowlers traveling to the Detroit area to bowl in the 2008 Women's Nationals. Confirmations were received immediately via email, and one week prior to check in I also received another final confirmation from the hotel itself. Slight corrections were needed so I called the customer care number listed, and... more

This hotel is working very, very hard on being perfect. I travel a LOT and I can tell a hotel that's stopped trying; this one has not. Example: When I asked the desk clerk if there was a "deal" available on the breakfast (which is priced at $10 and is not that special) and explained that I get a free... more

I chose to stay here because of the good reviews on this site of the hotel. It was't terrible, but they sure could do a much better job. The breakfast buffet was $10.99 and not good at all. There were little things in the room that just didn't work (remote, the fan in bathroom, a telephone was missing parts). It... more

We stayed at the hotel in July 2005. This is a clean, modern, well-designed hotel. The location is very convenient, being adjacent to I-275; but also because there are numerous malls and restaurants nearby. The hotel was quiet even though it was full on the nights of our stay. The design of the rooms minimized sound coming from the hallway,... more

Courtyard, Livonia is the typical businessman's hotel. The two days my wife and I were there the outside temp was never above freezing. This Courtyard is near a medium size mall and a 10 screen theater. The staff was courteous, as expected, rooms clean and comfortable. The thing that sold me on Courtyard was that for $10 more for the... more
