On a girls weekend we stopped in. There were no rooms available for us to stay but Pat was wonderful. She called other places for us and when none were available arranged for us to at least have a shower at the marina. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.

An incredibly pleasant experience from "top to bottom". Captain Ron and Pat are gracious hosts/innkeepers. Delicious breakfast the two mornings we were there. Fresh fruits both days; some delicious pecan french toast one morning, the other, eggs made to order, with Ron's Mom's home made freezer jelly to spread on the toast. Huron Room has a very comfortable king size... More

stayed here over the weekend. There were 2 couples so we had 2 rooms. What a fantastic place to say. Location to everything cannot be beat. The rooms were clean and suited all our needs. The best part about the Captain's Quarters are the hose, Ron and Pat. They could not be nicer and more interesting to talk to. This... More

What a fantastic experience! A block from the beach, a block from the best restaurants in town, a block from shopping ... just perfect. My wife and I needed a quick getaway from the metro Detroit area and we stumbled upon Captain's Quarters. Thank god! A perfect place. Each room has its own bathroom, the rooms are big and comfortable,... More

Captain Ron and his wife Pat treated us like family. Breakfast was delicious, graciously presented, and prepared by Captain Ron himself. The breakfast experience included pleasant conversation with our hosts and other guests. Our room was comfortable and charming, with the rest of the house full of fascinating maritime artifacts. The inn is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, a... More

This is my 5th year staying at the Captain's Quarters Inn. Every year Ron and Pat Cutler exceed my expectations. I travel by myself and Pat always makes sure I have plenty to do to keep me busy. Ron fixes the best breakfast in town. Every morning he is in the dining room to greet you in the morning and... More

We had a wonderful time at Captain's Quarters. We wanted to get away overnight and it was perfect for us. Since our hosts, Ron and Pat, knew that stairs were difficult for me while going through chemo, they made sure that the cottage was ready. The cottage is behind the main house and it is so cute and very clean!... More

We celebrate our camping reunions from nearby Camps Ozanam and Stapleton every summer by staying at the Captain's Inn. Ron and Pat are warm and inviting, The food is great. The place is cleaner than clean. We have enjoyed cocktails on their cozy patio and love cheering on the Tigers in their family room. They are attentive to our every... More

Everything about this place is wonderful. The house, the garden, the decor, the food, the hospitality, the location. Ron and Pat have thought of everything possible to make your stay comfortable and restful. And Ron is a great cook. If you are lucky, you will get his pecan-encrusted french toast preceded by berries and cream. Or possibly his mother's homemade... More
