This was our second time visiting Leland and staying at the Falling waters lodge. We brought my husband this time though. He and the kids love walking to the bait shop and coming back to fish right out front of room #104.... Beach right out a sandy path out back and wonderful restaurants and shoppping a stone's throw away. The... More

For the price, this was a brilliant place to spend the night. The rooms were comfortable and clean with the benefits of being close to local restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend this motel to anybody. The reception was also incredibly friendly and there was plenty of space for parking the car.

We stayed last night in #201, standard 2-queen bedroom, very clean and fresh---updated recently, 2 sinks, one outside bath. Cooper, who is very accommodating, is now the manager, replacing his crusty 87-year grandfather Riley. Everything was perfect.

Older hotel right at the dam and over looking Fishtown an old fishing village with shanties made into gift shops. Can fish from lower balcony, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I would stay there again, good times.

don't stay at this hotel, it smells and its gross. Never going to stay here again, I ended up with a gross case of ring worm after my visit here. Our room was so nasty, the vertical blinds were missing a few panels and it smelled so bad. We had to drink a lot just to fall asleep. Don't ever... More

Peacefully fall asleep to the sound of water rushing from the dam. During fall watch salmon spawning while sitting on the deck watching the fishing boats leave and return. Cross the quaint bridge to get to fish town and shopping. Walk to fantastic restaurants. Falling water is so romantic. Yes, it is damp from the dam, yep the keepers are... More

I was referred to Falling Water Lodge by a friend who has been going there every year for over 30 years. While some wrote that it is dated and dirty, I found it to be perfect for my needs and liking. It was in no way dirty. Housecleaning kept it spotless during our 3 days there. The staff was great... More

We stayed at the Falling Waters Lodge the last week of July 2014. Had we been able to find another place near the marina and our boat, we would have moved. On the fifth day, I found the owner watering plants. I asked if I could tell him about all of the problems we had to deal with. He said... More

It is an old, not well maintain hotel. We paid $139.00 for one night. For that price, the hotel needs to be refurbished. We had no television that night until we accidently discover that you must turn an electrical switch at the door. Never saw that trick in any hotel before. They should inform their customers about it. The front... More

This is a cute cottage-type lodge that is in the best location. The Lodge had a private beach just steps away to the west and a great waterfall on the north side of the lodge (which I was worried would be too noisy while sleeping but it was not), and a bridge over the waterfall connecting to some very nice...
