This property is a great base for your Lelanau Peninsula vacation. The hotel is remodeled and the rooms are great. It also offers a great veiw of the Leland Country Club golf course and is within walking distance to town and the ferry. The only down sides to this property if any are water pressure issues in room 211 and... More

We recently stayed at the Leland Lodge and were very pleasantly surprised. Although not cheap (we payed around $200/night for a room) the rooms were immaculately clean, the linen was new and fresh and the room (other than the wood paneling, which added to the charm) was very updated. This isn't the Ritz, but it was very nice and compared... More

My grandfather first brought me to The Lodge in 1949. I, and my family, have been coming here ever since, except lately due to, sadly, its decline--until now. The Lodge is revitalized thanks to its new owners. It has been returned to its high position of relaxed luxury. Good service, good food, wonderful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings are all found... More

The Lodge has been updated but with all the wood paneling it doesn't really seem like it. I like charm but this was definately only a place to stay for a family. The onsite restaurant wasn't much better and the waiter wasn't aware of the food offered without reading the menu hiimself. We traveled for a week on the Michigan... More

This place is terrible. When we arrived we wanted to make some coffee in our cottage. So we go to turn on and fill the coffee maker. But there was a dead bird inside the water reservoir. We took the coffee maker to the front desk and yet said they would get a new coffe maker... One day later we... More

We had an extended family vacation at the Leland Lodge in July 2014. The lodge and cottages have recently been renovated and are very clean and well appointed. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful gardens and a place for a bonfire. All the staff we encountered were attentive and pleasant. The lodge is conveniently located and is just a... More

We had an excellent time when we stayed at the lodge in July 2014 the manager Tilman Ellis was very friendly and polite when we arrived. I would recommend this place to stay to my family and friends. The town that they have is great to go shopping in.

We were finally able to get away to explore Leland, and.....what a gorgeous place. The Leland Lodge cottages offer an adorably quaint space decorated with Fishtown flare. Complete with kitchen, bath, full living area, breakfast nook, and two bedrooms, it's exactly what we needed for our time away. The on-the-grounds restaurant, Bogey's, offers excellent food and atmosphere overlooking the golf... More
