The Riverside is a nice inn in a great location in Leland, steps away from the Bluebird and Fishtown. Our room was very "cozy" (read small), but adequate. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The back deck and benches on the dock are great for enjoying a drink in the evening. The continental breakfast is nothing to rave... More

Wow.....so consistent! We tried to reserve but couldn't get a table...then stopped by for a drink and managed to get the best table in the house....outside on the patio in the sun. Wonderful service, divine food, great wine selections each time with good advice from staff. Always great, always attentive staff and great selection and creative ideas coming from the... More

Beautiful location and darling inside with very good food but it shouldn't take 1.5 hours to serve us our entree. We waited 45 minutes between our salad and our entree with multiple apologies from our server. The wait actually ruined our 35th anniversary as it was a humid night and there isn't air conditioning! I made this reservation 4 weeks... More

We stayed three nights last week in the Island Suite. It has a very comfortable bed with a nice sitting area. The hotel is an old building with 4 rooms and a restaurant. It sits on the river and has a bench/sitting area on its dock. My wife and I read books there several times during our stay. Very pleasant... More

I arrived on Friday evening to be ready to participate in a plein air painting event that started Saturday morning. The Good Harbor room was small but charming and well-appointed with lovely views of the river and boathouse. Continental breakfast included good coffee, quiche, juice and muffins or bagels. I appreciated the comfy bed and a nice long tub (plenty... More

We stayed at the Riverside Inn on 11/9/13. We had a Gift Certificate that was worth $250. We tried to schedule a stay a couple times earlier in the summer but they never had openings. Finally we settled on the 9th as they were closing afterward until the holidays. We probably should have been alerted on arrival as they didn't... More

This Inn brings back memories of inns in movies like "White Christmas". A beautiful setting on the banks of a river, quiet streets and a two minute walk to the center of this picturesque village. With only four rooms upstairs, there is plenty of privacy. We stayed several nights in the Island Suite, which overlooks the river. Nicely decorated in... More

My husband and I enjoyed "The Petoskey Suite" during a recent stay in Leland. The room was IMMACULATELY clean, comfortable, and quiet. The only "slight" negative with "sleep quality" was not having an air conditioner to sleep under at night, however the temperatures were acceptable, not unbearable. Our dinner there was excellent and we also enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast... More

We stayed at the Inn because of it's fabulous location in downtown Leland. I felt I should write this review to warn others about what to expect. Having come from a bed & breakfast on Mission Peninsula the previous night the difference was stark. There was not that Inn or b&b level of hospitality I expected. The Innkeepers seemed indifferent... More

Over from uk, stayed couple of nights in Michigan to see the scenery and the fall colours - amazing. The Riverside Inn has four rooms only and our stay was really comfortable, like a small suite with small sitting area. Room was fresh and clean. Downstairs the breakfast was served in the bar area and was very nice, if simple.... More
