I arrived on Friday evening to be ready to participate in a plein air painting event that started Saturday morning. The Good Harbor room was small but charming and well-appointed with lovely views of the river and boathouse. Continental breakfast included good coffee, quiche, juice and muffins or bagels. I appreciated the comfy bed and a nice long tub (plenty... More

We stayed at the Riverside Inn on 11/9/13. We had a Gift Certificate that was worth $250. We tried to schedule a stay a couple times earlier in the summer but they never had openings. Finally we settled on the 9th as they were closing afterward until the holidays. We probably should have been alerted on arrival as they didn't... More

This Inn brings back memories of inns in movies like "White Christmas". A beautiful setting on the banks of a river, quiet streets and a two minute walk to the center of this picturesque village. With only four rooms upstairs, there is plenty of privacy. We stayed several nights in the Island Suite, which overlooks the river. Nicely decorated in... More

My husband and I enjoyed "The Petoskey Suite" during a recent stay in Leland. The room was IMMACULATELY clean, comfortable, and quiet. The only "slight" negative with "sleep quality" was not having an air conditioner to sleep under at night, however the temperatures were acceptable, not unbearable. Our dinner there was excellent and we also enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast... More

We stayed at the Inn because of it's fabulous location in downtown Leland. I felt I should write this review to warn others about what to expect. Having come from a bed & breakfast on Mission Peninsula the previous night the difference was stark. There was not that Inn or b&b level of hospitality I expected. The Innkeepers seemed indifferent... More

Over from uk, stayed couple of nights in Michigan to see the scenery and the fall colours - amazing. The Riverside Inn has four rooms only and our stay was really comfortable, like a small suite with small sitting area. Room was fresh and clean. Downstairs the breakfast was served in the bar area and was very nice, if simple.... More

Beautiful setting for a romantic dinner. The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating to my food allergy. However service was somewhat lacking as my husband never had his water glass refilled and the server forgot to bring us our side order of very delicious beets. All in all a good experience and I will be back for... More

We spent one night here and were happy with the room and the location. We stayed in the Island Suite overlooking the river. We explored Fishtown and walked to the shops. Nice view of the river and great restaurant. The only downside was that the pillows were very uncomfortable and there were no tv's on the property. We are not... More

Dinner is absolutely outstanding...5 star quality with a great selection of spirits and wine. The location of this Inn is simply perfect, however overshadowed by the owner's lack of hospitality. The waitstaff, servers, Whitney the bartender and Clair the hostess were warm, welcoming, and truly wanted to make your stay memorable. The owner, Kate, was a little chilly, and made... More

Quaint, historic hotel. Service was outstanding. Location was great for walking around. Close to M-22. The room was clean. It was fortunate for me that the bed was SO COMFORTABLE, that I was able to fall asleep after I awoke from footsteps in the hall. The floors in the room were painted wood and quite creaky.
