Beautiful home, great breakfasts, very nice staff. Michelle was very friendly, offered recommendations and even called for reservations. We stayed in one of the maids rooms (#8) on the third floor. It was a nice room, though the bathroom was very cramped. Neat to see the original fixtures. The bed was very comfy. We would stay again with family, as... More

We have been coming here for the last 15 years during Fall Colors and other times throughout the year. We like the Victorian Hall the best and our favorite rooms are #11 and # 12, but I don't think there is one we wouldn't stay in. Comfy beds and pillows, great showers...the decor makes you feel as though you stepped... More

After 12 years of wanting to go there we finally got to stay there in late Sept '15. The staff couldn't be more friendly and the Inn is so cool!!! We're already talking about going back. Next time we're staying at the Victorian Mansion across the street. Already have our room picked out!! Yes, the Inn could use some work,... More

The staff was super friendly and helpful. There were treats at night. The breakfast was delightfully different. The pancakes were lemon cream. The jams homemade with a twist in flavors. The ceilings were very high. The rooms were huge. You could sleep in the closet! The claw foot tub was a delight. There were plenty of thick towels and space... More

My wife and I stayed at the Laurium Manor Inn a couple of nights. The structure is a magnificent 19th century home with a porch and pillars, large rooms with high ceilings and antique furnishings. The staff are friendly, the breakfasts are great and the king size bed provided a good night's rest, after exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula. We enjoyed... More

First- I love Calumet for it's history, for its grandness and for what remains .... the beauty of nature reclaiming its place from the ravages of our history. This B&B brings you into history. you FEEL what was and in now lost. Really - there is no describing it - you just have to stay. Would I come back? Absolutely.

We stayed in the Laurium manor inn in room 7 it was a cute room with vaulted ceilings and a claw foot tub. It really is a beautiful old building we loved that we were able to tour the whole mansion and see other rooms (usually not an option at a b&b). The staff were all very friendly, the owner... More

We stayed in room 6, a suite, upholstered furniture is worn, towels are thin, the wifi didn't consistently connect. I loved the antiques in the room & throughout the house. Bathroom is nicely updated. Not enough lighting in the room. Breakfast options were very basic. The front flower beds are overgrown with weeds and poison ivy, front stone steps are decaying... More

This is the best place to stay in the area! Clean, beautiful rooms and outstanding breakfasts. The owners are friendly and make you feel at home. We stay here every time we visit the area and it's always a great experience.

Had a excellent stay at the Inn. The host was very nice, he allowed me to choose which room we could stay in. Choose room 2 on the second floor, was a excellent choice. Breakfast was delicious, we had almond and poppy seed pancakes with sausage. French bread toast with their homemade jam, very good. Coffee, milk, tea, tomato juice,... More
