I'm a city girl who wanted to experience farm life and enjoy a mini vacation. Shamrock Farms was a pleasant surprise. The price is VERY reasonable for what you get in return...Beautiful land, animals, house and comfy rooms! The hosts and farm workers were all very nice and inviting. The breakfast was delicious and I basically stayed full all the way... More

Our brief stay at Shamrock Farms was wonderful. The Roses room was as lovely as described with our own bathroom and the comfy bed was second to none. Stacey makes the BEST breakfast and was kind to bring us a baby goat to snuggle on the patio. Our host, Maurine was charming company and very helpful about where to shop,... More

This stay at the Shamrock Bed and Breakfast was excellent. The location is nestled on a beautiful farm with gorgeous acreage. The home itself is the most precious, Victorian home that fills each room with character. The hostess was very flexible and accommodating. The rooms were perfect. Price very reasonable for such a unique place. And best of all, the... More

I don't know what janetemiller10 was talking about. My boyfriend and I stayed at Shamrock Farms in 2013 and swore we'd be back because it was the best time at a B&B that we've ever had. We had the entire place to ourselves and we were free to go into the barn and feed the animals, which was amazing! It... More

I usually don't write a negative review unless a stay is exceptionally bad. In that way a traveller can decide if they wish to stay based on our experience. Based on the reviews, I was encouraged. We checked in and we had to pay immediately. We saw our room and I swore ours had a fireplace in it. I called... More

We stayed during a late autumn weekday and had the place to ourselves. Our hostess was the owner's sister as the owner was away on horse business. If you prefer rural lodging, this is a fine choice. We toured the barnyard the next morning. My wife grew up on a farm and enjoyed that. The breakfast was excellent too, a... More

Wonderful relaxing weekend on a farm. We stayed in the Secretariat room. Huge comfy bed, all the amenities. Had a delicious hearty country breakfast cooked by Barb, one of our hosts. Got to go out & meet the animals. Roosters crowing, geese, donkies, goats, cats & horses everywhere!! Got to feed the horses a bunch of carrots. Much to my... More

The donkeys are Mudgey, Sassafras and Sanje. There is a horse (among many) named Meanrunningmachine. Buster, Gibbs, & Zeke are some of the goats. Zoey is a llama. Dogs? How about Louie, Ted Bear, Saucey Jones & Lenny Miller. Where is Noah, we may need an ark! Beside being a very nice bed and breakfast, a terrific value, clean &... More

You've seen the movies "babe", "Charlottes Web", etc... and have wondered what it would be like to live on a storybook farm. Well, this is as close to that magical experience as I've come by. Shamrock Farms B&B is part of an actual working Thoroughbred Horse farm, but there's so much more. There are a variety of animals on the... More
