Had some concerns when booking this hotel after reading other posts, but hoped things would be better after the "Re-Do", WRONG! The hotel was clean & quiet for the weekend but the rooms were cheaply re-done. The cauk in the bathroom was a mess & there were no towel bars nor t. paper holder. I spend two nights at the Ramada in Lansing about a week ago. I was there for a wedding, which the bride had booked a year or so ago when the hotel was still a Holiday Inn. Then it was under new management and those people sold it to Ramada. The hotel has a lot of potential. It is on... more

The outside of the hotel should be your first tip-off. The attached restaurant is all-boarded up with plywood...and the prior (Holiday Inn) sign has been removed and not replaced with any kind of sign. It looks like an abandoned building. Then....when you walk inside, to the front check-in, the wall behind the workers is a delightful emerald green with all... more
