The Causeway Bay Hotel group has purchased the old South Lansing Holiday Inn lock, stock, and barrel. They put CB stickers on the wastebaskets and room guest guides and are still using the H.Inn vans. The age is showing in the rooms. Do not look under the shower mat! The shower faucet is loose and the water temperature will vary... more

This property is now called the Causeway Bay Hotel and I stayed they. The room was large with brand new carpeting. I had a quiet room overlooking the back parking area. Very quiet and very clean. They are undergoing remodelling and hope to be a Best Western soon. The MSU rate was just 68 bucks--a steal. (Yes, they had a... more

So many things to list that were wrong with this hotel... We ate in the hotels restaraunt "hummingbirds" and had the worst service by a girl who was VERY unkept and untimely- especially considering we were the only ones in there. Our room had dirty carpets that had leftover things on the floor from the people who used it before... more

I reserved a non-smoking room for my family. When we arrived there was a terrible smell something similar to a wet ashtray. The stench was so pervasive that I requested another room. I was assured that the initial room had never been a smoking room. The front desk changed rooms and I was told the new room was definitely a... more

I am really appalled about people giving this place a bad review. We have stayed at this hotel for the last 6 years for the Nascar race and I have never had any problems or complaints here. The staff is great and the rooms are excellent. For any person who ever has a complaint for this place is crazy! I... more

I’m a perks member and love Holiday Inn Expresses (and usually Holiday Inns.) I have never given a negative review to a Holiday Inn. But this is by far the worst at which I’ve stayed, and it was over $100 a night! Also, you have to park across the street. Guest service was okay. However, the room I was in... more

As soon as we walked through the doors, I could smell the musty moldy smell and my allergies instantly flared up. The room was clean but rather old looking. We had a bad experience going down to the pool. When the doors to the pool elevator opened, there was a couple having a quicky and then dropped their lit cigarettes... more

The hotel is nice. Although the carpeting and wallpaper is old looking - could have been fashionable at one time, but now its kind of ugly. The hotel is very spacious and I am sure very nice at one time. However the hotel has not been updated nor has it been maintained all that well. For example the carpet in... more

I just recently stayed at the Holiday Inn South in Lansing. I have never felt more comfortable in a place other than my own home. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Althought the hotel shows a little age, it is still kept clean and comfortable. I would with out a doubt recomend this hotel to others. Although I live... more

I recommend the Holiday Inn in Lansing, Michigan for I have stayed there several times. The hotel is easy to find for it is on Cedar Street at Interstate 96. Cedar Street is one of the main streets in Lansing for it has lots of businesses. In addition, the hotel has free airport transportation from the Lansing airport. more
