Stayed here for three nights while visiting East Lansing. It's convenient, a bit off of the highway (and probably a 10-minute drive into downtown), but that means you do hear the cars. You get what you pay for. I was in town for Business and my boss made the reservation for me. I was a little worried as it is a Red Roof Inn!! But the outside of the building was a bit outdated and paint was pealing off the walls and such, The room was nice and big enought for me.... more

The Red Roof is in an ideal spot right off the express way and close to the MIchigan State Campus. A very affordable Hotel. When in comes to cleanliness they are not up to par.
