My wife and I were looking for a place to spend our anniversary and the Rosewood Inn was just the ticket. Just off the interstate, easy to find, and in a quiet location. Still close enough to lots of shopping, dining, and entertainment. The house itself is absolutely stunning. The bed was huge and comfortable. Lots of room and a... More

Valerie and Joe, innkeepers, are very gracious, hardworking, salt of the earth people. They have worked very hard transforming this property into the beautiful B&B and wedding venue that is is today. Our room was large and well-appointed. My only two complaints that probably won't matter to most people are that there was no light above the sink in the... More

Val & Joe Cordes graciously hosted our Christmas Party at the Inn. It is a beautiful place and accommodated our party of 20 people for wine tasting followed by dinner, desert and a gift exchange. The meal was excellent and the hosts were warm and accommodating.

My husband and I arrived late last night to the warm hospitality extended by Joe and Val, proprietors of the Rosewood Inn. They were gracious and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and the decorating was elegant, not overdone. We got a good night's rest and awoke to the pleasant aroma of blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fruit. They were... My husband and I stayed here last Saturday night with our two children, ages 10 and 13. It is true that the B&B has Queen beds, but Val and Joe welcomed our children and accomodated them, too! When we arrived we were impressed with the restoration of this old house, it was everything I hoped for and imagined! The ceilings... More

We agree completely with the review of 2009 that this is a much better place to stay than a local hotel. Just two small recommendation to the owners: 1) it would be convenient to have wastebaskets in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom. 2) the closets are huge & it would be very convenient to guests if a... The Rosewood Inn is the very definition of what a B&B should be - beautiful, comfortable, hospitable, relaxing. I was in this area of Michigan for a convention, and while most average hotels were available for around $80 - $100, I figured I'd spend a little more to stay at Rosewood for the experience of a B&B. It was just... More
