The motel needs some advertising or better street signage..first thing we saw was a Danger sign.. it scared us away, so we went someplace else.. Later we found out where the office was and there was 2 cars there, It did need lots of work done to make it customer friendly. The next morning we noticed when we were leaving... More

The owner was rude and short, if I could have cancelled my room without being charged I would have walked out. Rooms are very old and outdated. Bathroom very small, bed uncomfortable, very unpleasant stay.

Very reasonably priced compare to Traverse city hotels. Newly done rooms; carpet looked new, newer furniture (different than last time), new flat screen tvs and new clean looking bedding. The breakfast area is small but enough for me to eat. It is close to traverse city and the casino. The owner's family was very nice and helpful.

I was surprised we were able to get three rooms for the night during tourist season. I was leery that there was a reason these rooms may have still been available. Upon entering the room though my fears were without merit. While the narrow halls and steep stairs showed the age of the building, the rooms had clean carpet and... More

This hotel is smelly, has thin walls, and is obviously in desperate need of a makeover. "Continental" breakfast was a joke. I was frankly embarrassed for the people who worked there. The internet was practically non-existent, and people were LOUD outside our window all night...NO SLEEP!

Needed a place to crash for 8 hours and stayed here between jobs. My first impression was this can't be that bad. Then I got my keys and went to room 226. I opened the door and got a face full of smoke smell. The hotel is supposed to be smoke free. It is probably residual smoke smell since this... More

Slept with my bug spray on in case there were bugs. Narrow steps were dangerous, would be difficult to escape a fire. When we got there, a family of four were in the parking lot frantically calling on their cell phones looking for another hotel after they saw bugs in their room. Isn't there a health department check on these... More

Ok, not a place Id take the family. This is a fisherman/hunter/area worker motel. Not degrading this crowd because Im one of them, but most of us stay on the corporate tab and they want to get by as cheap as possible. Foreign operated. Rooms are dated, but fairly clean. Rooms include a hair dryer, fridge, micro, etc. I believe... More

We stayed here one night over Memorial Day weekend, This hotel was less than half the price of those in Traverse City. This was an old, not an updated property but was clean and comfortable for a night. The biggest complaint was that the shower head was very low and if you are tall, that was a little problem. It...
