This hotel is PERFECT for kids and parents who want to have some fun. The pool and arcade area are FUN and easy to supervise. The pool deck was clean and there were plenty of places to congregate. The bar is right next to the pool (with windows looking onto the pool area) but it's quiet. Our room was very... more

Thank you so much for you response! Your positive feedback is truly appreciated and we’re glad you had such a nice time staying with us. Our Holidome is a great family retreat- and with our onsite restaurant, Old Burdick's West, I am sure it was perfect for your family. We do host several different weekend groups of all ages. However,...

Stayed again in this hotel on a business trip, and once again it was uneventful, routine, dandy. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but the whole property was gutted to the studs and remodeled in 2007-08, and it still looks brand new -- gorgeous beds, furnishings, carpeting, wall coverings. The 37 in flat panel TVs are a nice... more

On a trip I recently went through Kalamazoo and stayed at this hotel, everything was going fine until I reached my room and went to take a shower and rust poured out of the foucet, so deciding against a shower decided to call it a night it was late, couldn't find a remote, had kids running up and down the... more

This was a great hotel to stay at during my business trip. The staff was very friendly and was there to answer all of my questions. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are brand new with flat screen tvs. I would recomend this hotel to any one who is staying in the Kalamazoo area. more

Well, what can I say. I also saw the horrid reviews. I chalked them up to angry travelers. I am here to tell you that everything you read is true without a doubt. My sons (7 and 4), wife and myself arrived in this area in anticipation for a tribute to Norman Rockwell illustration. The reviews ring true in that... more

We had read the reviews and seen the horrible pictures in the past (bugs, bloody bathtub, mildew on door) and hoped for the best after a few reviews proved otherwise. After taking our daughter back to school late in the game this was our last choice available and now I know why. Our room smelled moldy, musty and like previous... more

We stayed here for the 2008 Disc Golf World Championships in August 2008 and were thrilled with this hotel. The staff has the attitude of going above and beyond, the hotel amenities are wonderful, the grounds and pool are great - we have nothing bad to say about our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. more

We recently returned from a stay here. All and all we enjoyed our tip. We stayed in a room on the first floor connected to the atrium area. The rooms were very clean with modern bedding and a flat screen TV's. The pool area was nice. Only issue being that the buckets that dump water on the kids were not... more

This hotel went through a rocky period during renovations, but now they're completed it's back up to full standard. Very pleasant, helpful young staff, comfortable rooms, and surprisingly good food. They provide helpful shuttle service for guests without cars, too. The standard of comfort and service provided for the money is really remarkable. more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kalamazoo at the beginning of May. I couldn't believe the transformation made through the construction. It's like a brand new hotel! Our room was so nice and the holidome was great for the kids. The staff really set the bar for good service and Iook forward to staying there again in the future! more
