My mother and I checked into the Clarion on Sat. evening. The outside is under construction, the neon sign on the side of the hotel, has the C out, the sidewalks are cracked and torn up, plywood is all over the place, nails, industrial trash cans, looks like a third world country, whereas the neighboring hotel chains look great. Rooms were clean and service was above par. The building and rooms are a little dated but is clean and the food is good. And for the price, this is the best deal to be had in the area. more

The hotel rooms were clean and the lobby was acceptable except that the photos were offensive. I do not need to enter a hallway with pictures of the virgin mary scattered throughout the hallways in the main lobby. This will be the last time I stay at this hotel until the pictures are removed more

Yes the rooms need a bit updating but in the past 2 years they have updated the pool, and are currently working on putting in new tile flooring in the bathrooms and new wall paper as for stains on the carpets i have been in every room and all i have seen was some ciggarett burns.
