My girlfriend and I rode our bicycles to the Hall House from South Haven and had a wonderful experience. They stored our bicycles inside for us and provided great customer service! The Hall House is very clean, the food was great and the room we had was equipped with a really nice whirlpool which was relaxing after a long bike... More

Hall House is beautiful--lovely rooms, comfortable beds, attention to detail. I'm chemically sensitive and Kathy went to great lengths to make sure there were no deodorizers or other problem chemicals in our room. She even got hypoallergenic soap for me. We would stay there again.

Kathy and Dave were very warm and accommodating, which is one of the things we most enjoy about B&B's. On relatively short notice, they were able to set up an in-room massage for my wife, which was part of my anniversary gift to her (and she loved it). The location worked out great for us - access to trails for... More

We were in Kalamazoo for the Gilmore Piano Festival in mid May. We had stayed at Hall House on a previous visit and had fond memories of the spacious Van der Horst Room with its fireplace and Victorian decor. We were lucky enough to get the same room and were again delighted. The Innkeeper, Kathy was warm and hospitable and... More

found this place on google maps and decided to try it out when in the area. Very nice well kept place with comfy room and nice breakfast. Nice and close to downtown, will stay again if in town. Lovely old home tastefully decorated and the innkeeper was quite pleasant.

We needed a place to stay after a performance at Miller Auditorium. We had had some negative experience with hotels in the area, so decided on this B&B. It was very close to the campus, and our hostess was so sweet and friendly. The house is beautifully restored with many original details. The breakfast was delicious, nothing too fancy. We... More

Hall House is a beautiful home located just adjacent to (virtually on) the Kalamazoo College campus and within a mile from the center of downtown Kalamazoo. Kathy is a friendly and gracious hostess who makes you feel quite comfortable and at home, and her breakfasts are home cooked and delicious! The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, and if you're... More

Thank you for all of the kind words. Being the only property on Thompson Street that Kalamazoo College does not own, does make us extremely convenient for parents or anyone else visiting K College or even Western Michigan University which is just a few blocks away. Don't forget the art fair at Bronson Park is the first weekend in June. More

I was fortunate to spend a day/night at Hall House just prior to the busy holiday season and found the accommodations so very comfortable and the property quiet and hospitable ~ just what I needed during a hectic time of year. The innkeepers are delightful and so very welcoming and offer a breakfast that was home cooked and delicious. Easy... More

A lovely B&B right near the centre of Kalamazoo. Rooms are large and beautifully furnished all charmingly overseen by Cathy - a great hostess. Breakfast was imaginative and very tasty. We come to Kalamzoo almost every year and will certainly return to the Hall House. This time we were too rushed to really appreciate it.

We recently stayed here two nights. This home is so beautiful. The attention to detail was so impressive. The period furnishings and decorations are delightful. The home is very conveniently located to the colleges in town and all the other things to do in town! Cathy is a wonderfully gracious hostess. She goes out of her way to provide all... More
