Stayed here twice while visiting relations, first for three days, then for a week. First three days we got a room on a smoking floor because they didn't have anything else. Not very pleasant as we don't smoke. We decided to give the non-smoking lower floors the benefit of the doubt on another occasion but were disappointed as the ventilation... More

i had everything i needed. it was safe, clean, and the staff was very supportive. The laundromat inside was very helpful, so i did not have to go and find one on a stranger city. Overall the experience was good eventhough that the customers had to pay for anything extra such as extra housekeeping, and coffee pot.

Mr. S, I have spent a lot of time investigating your experience, as it is a great concern of mine. Safety is our top Priority at Value Place. Was the last room in town for a busy weekend. Wasnt our first choice but it was close to campus. Reviews on this site made it seem like a good hotel but I found them to be a little misleading. Staff was nice, but is only available at inconvenient times. The room was clean but furniture and room was old... More

I keep coming back to Value Place Kalamazoo because it meets my needs of quiet, safe, clean, and friendly staff. The one in South Carolina is not as good though. I'm a single female business traveler, and feel very good coming and going, cooking what I like, and the pricing is very good. Can't say enough about Donna, Tiffany, and... More

Having stayed in several different extended stays in the past, when i got a contract in Kalamazoo i was disappointed not to go to my regular extended stay, but read the reviews for Value Stay so I decided to give it a try. At first, I thought "Oh, God, what have I gotten myself into"? But honestly, if you don't look at this place as a hotel and look at it as a short-stay apartment, it's just fine. I stayed here for almost two weeks. It was clean and quiet. The beds are kinda hard but that's what I am used to so... More
