Gorgeous home, gracious hosts, delicious breakfast! Came to town for a concert at Bell's Brewery (very close by) and our stay here made it a fabulous weekend. The grounds and gardens are spectacular! We can't wait to come back!

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed recently while attending events at Western Michigan University. Dana and Chris are awesome hosts; they are fun to visit with, very helpful, and always doing those extra little things to make your stay that much more enjoyable. This is my second time staying here and each time I have met and visited... More

My daughter and I stayed here last weekend while visiting Kalamazoo College. We loved the friendliness of Dana and Chris, the spacious room (we were in number 10 on the top floor), and the proximity to K college. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious: eggs, roast beef hash, homemade yogurt with toppings, and coffee cake the first morning and lemon ricotta... More

Dana & Chris, along with Belvedere their dog, make this a most pleasant stay in Kalamazoo. Convenient to all the town has to offer, cozy rooms and common areas, and greeted by delicious home-made cookies and tasty breakfast in the morning. Even the sub-zero weather outside didn't impact on the comfort level of this historic inn.

We spend a wonderful long weekend at the Inn when visiting our son at college. The food was wonderful. The innkeepers were friendly and accommodating. They gave us great advice on places to shop, to eat and suggested several other activities to keep us busy. It was also great just hanging out in the beautiful old home sipping tea. It... More

My husband and I had an exciting day of skiing and decided to take a break and check in. Chris greeted us as we pulled up the drive, and gave us a very friendly welcome. The house is large and beautiful, with a coziness and warmth we felt as we walked in. We met Belvedere, their watchful dog. Chris took... More

We stayed in the Stuart Ave Inn for one night and had a great time! The innkeepers were very welcoming and great to talk to. They also have a very sweet dog that likes to hang out on the main floor. Breakfast was excellent and they even made a special plate for me since I'm not much of a meat... More

Beautiful old home with choice of vintage bedrooms. The bed was very comfortable, and even though in the city very quiet. There were few trains could be heard in the distance, but I love trains so found that soothing. Breakfast was adequate one morning and fabulous the next?? Although we were there for two days, our room was not straightened... More

Thank you for your feedback. Apologies for not servicing your room. Our cleaning staff try to respect a guest's privacy and obviously overlooked your request for service. Just a reminder that we need to check in with our guests more often during their stay. More

Best, most quiet night of sleep I've ever gotten at a B&B! Stuart Avenue Inn was very comfortable, quiet, and even better than we expected from what we saw on the web site. We stayed in Ruth's Room, which is actually nicer than the pictures communicate. All we could hear were the raindrops falling outside our room. Breakfast was good,... More

I stayed here solo for 4 nights for a conference at Kalamazoo College. I love the Garden room, it was so pretty and made me feel like I was home. The best part of this place is the amazing hosts and the breakfast, made to order! The garden is pretty, it is quiet and I loved staying here. I did... More
