Excellent service and 200 yards from the lake. Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable, perfect for families. We stayed one night while traveling through the UP. Highly recommended and the right price. Better than most chain hotels.

This is a wonderful place right in the center of a hub of activities in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I spent a week there about a month ago. Easy to find on County Rd 424 between Crystal Falls and Iron River. The owners, Orv and Colleen, run a comfortable, clean, friendly place with large rooms, a microwave and a refrigerator and... More

We stayed one night in this motel and was glad we did not book it for any more than that. Room was clean but very limited channels on tv. No cable. Had vcr tapes but were outdated. When I stay in a motel I like to watch tv in evening before going to bed. Took my kindle fire with me... More

Overall a very nice place in terms of what other options are available in the area. The facilities were very clean and the owners were extremely nice/helpful as well. The continental breakfast is great and had a nice variety of options. Also, the parking lot is spacious if you’re towing a boat, which was the case with my group. It... More

We were returning via US-2 from a trip out West ; the hotels in Iron River were full so the hotel manager referred us to the Chicaugon Lake Inn. Since it was already pitch-black out, we were very, very grateful. The Inn is actually about 8 miles from Iron River in a town called Gaastra. Where in the dickens is... More

Very clean and well-kept rooms. NIcely decorated with a quilt patterned bedspreads and rooms were a generous size. We stayed in two queen rooms (2 beds) and a king room. Both have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The Inn is run by a couple who live on-site and they are more than helpful and willing to answer questions... More

The rooms are generic rooms you would expect at a hotel for this price. The carpeting is definately worn, but it is clean so I didn't care. The parking lot was big enough to provide easy loading and unloading of our snowmobiles and the trails ran right behind the Inn. Be advised that there is not anything close by to... More

Really didn't enjoy my stay here. Owners were friendly, inn was clean, fresh towels in room each day. But that is where the compliments end. The hotel isn't actually on the lake. The lake is really across a road and a field. We couldn't even see the lake from the hotel. The view out our window was an old storage... More

Beautiful little inn, reminds me of B&B's in rural England! It's several miles (10-15 minutes) out of town (Iron River), located amidst small rolling hills. Room & common areas were very clean, free wifi, the inn is quiet, owners very friendly & helpful. Not many cable TV stations, but they have a wide selection of VHS tapes in the lobby... More
