The service was excellent and the accommodations were very nice. Definitely recommend the Stone Center Hotel for all who visit the Interlochen School for the Arts! /////////////////////////////////////////

Like I have stated in an earlier review, this place 'is what it is'. However, you need to know what you are getting if you rent one of their cabins. I would STRONGLY advise you to call the hotel and speak with someone about renting a cabin beforehand. If you have seen some of the quaint lodging on campus such... More

Be aware there are no elevators in the hotel. Steep stairs could pose problems. We have stayed here in the past in cabins on the property. Room very small beds sagging and uncomfortable. Windows overlooked roof of hotel and walkway. Breakfast in dining room shared with students. Food typical school cafeteria and hard to figure out where to get food... More

Many changes to Interlochen since I would visit back in the 70s and 80s and one is that the Kresge Auditorium (right next door) now has the Stone Center Hotel available right next door. It would be a perfect place to book if you have a child at the camp or if you are in to see a show, like... More

Okay, this is a renovated dormitory on the campus of a fine arts boarding school. You should *not* have high expectations. It is completely AVERAGE if you go into it knowing what it is. If you have think it's going to be something fancy, you're in for a big surprise. PROS: Perfect for a visit to Interlochen (if your child... More

The hotel is right on campus. You have to park in an outer lot so make sure your bags have wheels. I believe you can ask for assistance and a golf cart will come get you. The rooms are what I would call European or New York in size and the bathrooms are pretty tight. The lakeside view rooms have... More

The room in which my husband and I stayed (218) was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was miniscule and reminded me of my college dormitory back in the 1970s but was fine for an overnight stay. The furniture, carpeting and fixtures in the room appeared to be new. Everything was spotless. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry... More

This is a pretty basic place but it's clean and comfy. The location is, of course, ideal if you are dropping off a camper or seeing a concert. The desk staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms themselves are nice-- small but air conditioned which can come in handy on a hot summer night. It is attached to a... More

This used to be a high school dorm. It was all remodeled last year and is very nice and clean. The bathrooms are small and are very dormy but functional. The bed was very firm which we liked. Complimentary coffee pot and coffee in room, Limited cable, wi-fi, very new and cold a/c. The staff was very friendly and helpful.... More

The rooms are tiny and the AC is marginal at best. Uncomfortable beds. Postage-stamp bathroom! We had made reservations for several visits because our son was at the arts camp. Never again! Sound travels into the rooms way too much from the hallway and other rooms. Few of the staff act with professionalism. For example, the first time we arrived,... More
