Okay, this is a renovated dormitory on the campus of a fine arts boarding school. You should *not* have high expectations. It is completely AVERAGE if you go into it knowing what it is. If you have think it's going to be something fancy, you're in for a big surprise. PROS: Perfect for a visit to Interlochen (if your child... More

The hotel is right on campus. You have to park in an outer lot so make sure your bags have wheels. I believe you can ask for assistance and a golf cart will come get you. The rooms are what I would call European or New York in size and the bathrooms are pretty tight. The lakeside view rooms have... More

The room in which my husband and I stayed (218) was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was miniscule and reminded me of my college dormitory back in the 1970s but was fine for an overnight stay. The furniture, carpeting and fixtures in the room appeared to be new. Everything was spotless. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry... More

This is a pretty basic place but it's clean and comfy. The location is, of course, ideal if you are dropping off a camper or seeing a concert. The desk staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms themselves are nice-- small but air conditioned which can come in handy on a hot summer night. It is attached to a... More

This used to be a high school dorm. It was all remodeled last year and is very nice and clean. The bathrooms are small and are very dormy but functional. The bed was very firm which we liked. Complimentary coffee pot and coffee in room, Limited cable, wi-fi, very new and cold a/c. The staff was very friendly and helpful.... More

The rooms are tiny and the AC is marginal at best. Uncomfortable beds. Postage-stamp bathroom! We had made reservations for several visits because our son was at the arts camp. Never again! Sound travels into the rooms way too much from the hallway and other rooms. Few of the staff act with professionalism. For example, the first time we arrived,... More

This hotel is on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts and is very convenient for visiting and attending functions there. The rooms are simple but comfortable, clean and recently renovated with the exception of the bathrooms. Some rooms are a bit nicer than others – try to get the lake view rooms as a first choice. Expect rooms... More

Situated inside Interlochen Arts Academy. The rooms are in an old dorm building. The A/C didn't work, the bathroom was small, beds were VERY uncomfortable. No TV or radio. Incredibly noisy. Meals were served at the same time as students ate theirs at set times, in the school cafeteria and food was horrible. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom, told... More
