Husband and I booked a couple nights in the Angler's Nook. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and brought to our cute, tidy suite. I highly recommend choosing one of their package deals! Our hosts had our whole itinerary neatly laid out in folder with directions, times and everything. Lake Dubonnet was beautiful and peaceful, you can come and go... More

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend on our honeymoon and loved it. The location on Lake Dubonnet was gorgeous. Each morning I went out on the kayak (Lake 'N Pines provided it) and watched great herons hunting in the still water. It was isolated and relaxing, but also close enough to Traverse City that it was not... More

We really enjoyed our stay in the Bay Chalet suite. It is beautiful and very quiet. We loved the large hot tub and sauna. Dave made us a delicious breakfast every day. Great location close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. I wish we had been able to use the canoes but my husband was suffering from back pain... More

We had a concert to attend at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and didn't want to take the long drive home afterwards, so we decided to stay at Lake 'N Pines for the night. Talk about convienence! The Center was right down the road and took about 10-15 minutes to get to. The B&B was nice. We stayed in... More

Thank you for your feedback and staying with us. Yes you are correct I'm a very busy fellow :). I'm sorry you had trouble with the wi-fi, we did have a major storm in the area that caused our service to be disrupted for a couple of days until we got assistance in getting our routers reset, I believe you... We had a fantastic stay at Lake N Pines Lodge! The lodge is located on right on a lake, but it was amazing how private and quiet it is being surrounded by State Park lands. Rowing out into the lake you see beautiful trees surrounding the lake rather than houses. The fishing was great, and even in the middle of... More

Everything about Lake 'N Pines exceeded our expectations. Nestled among towering pines and maple trees, our second-floor cabin was spacious enough for four. The outdoor deck was a big plus. We chose to have breakfast delivered every day, and found the number of choices amazing. It was a quiet, welcome respite at the end of each of our four sightseeing... More

On the plus side: Large room with a comfortable queen size bed. Very responsive owner. Nice location right on Lake Dubonnet with a dock and kayaks/canoes/boats that can be used by guests. Made to order breakfast each morning. Short drive to Interlochen for concerts and restaurants. On the negative side: Room lighting was very dim, and the bathroom needs an... More

Thank you for staying with us, and I'm glad your son enjoyed his stay at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. I'm surprised you mentioned the room lighting as dim, since we have 5 light fixtures in the suite. It could be the energy efficient bulbs we are now using do not generate the brightness of the standard bulbs. We... More

I have only positive things to say about Lake 'N Pines. I will mention a few reasons why I think Lake 'N Pines stands out: (1) Privacy: I am typically not a fan of bread and breakfasts because I value privacy when on vacation, and bread and breakfasts where I’ve stayed in the past were a bit too communal for... We loved our stay. The property is lovely and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is great for getting around to lots of the area attractions. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We stayed 4 nights at Lake N' Pines with our group of 9. The lake with the lily pads was beautiful. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the lake and sitting in the hot tub. The breakfast was good and the hosts were wonderful. This is a good spot to see some nature and have a relaxing get away.... More
